I have used Tony several times before and can thoroughly recommend him as a professional and totally reliable tradesman. On this occasion I needed him to remove and replace an old storage heater and replace it with a new modern electric heater. Tony gave great advice on a replacement and completed the job quickly, efficiently and at a fair price. Very helpful with removing the old unit from site too. Tony also did a couple of smaller jobs while he was on site - new fused spur and replacing ceiling light switch - and again all the work done quickly and efficiently. We asked Tony to do a complete rewire of the house. Tony had done a much bigger job for us years ago at great value for money and was very professional, so when we just needed a couple of jobs done before moving house, he was our obvious first choice to ask. I asked Tony for a quote to install some spotlights with a dimmer switch for a spare bedroom and also to convert the single sockets to double. I also needed a new wall light to be fitted in the living room. Tony arrived to do the work on the date agreed and on-time. The work was done to a high standard and the work area was kept very tidy. I would have no hesitation in using Tony again for any further electrical work, should it arise.

Tony checked our electrics, which unfortunately turned out to be well past their sell by date, requiring a full rewiring of the house whilst we lived in the house! The work was done efficiently and effectively, with as little damage to the fabric of the house as was it was possible to achieve in such circumstances, and within the schedule agreed. Communication and advice was great, and would recommend him highly.

I moved into a new (old cottage) home and wanted to make sure the electrics were safe. Tony came and thoroughly inspected everything then made a plan with me to fix all the issues including installing an earth to the house working with national grid on my behalf; replacing the old fuse box so I could have new appliances and sockets and replacing/removing wires and lights where needed. I have used Tony a number of years now and wouldn't choose anyone else. Without exception, Tony is friendly, reliable, quick to respond and does great quality work. He fitted the majority of the lighting in my flat, including recessed wall lights, and LED lighting in the kitchen, and everything has been working great for years. For this piece of work, I had the fire/heat alarms evaluated and replaced and a faulty switch changed. Everything was done with extremely low admin overhead for me, and the tenants in the flat commented how helpful Tony was. Would recommend without reservation anytime.

He was excellent at advising us of what he was doing and, where he encountered issues, he talked us through them and how he thought we should resolve them. Nothing was ever too much trouble. He was always prompt, polite and courteous and I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending him to anyone who is looking for an approachable and knowledgeable electrician. Called Ynot Renovate at 9 a.m. - Tony arrived just 2 hours later; identified fault quickly; disabled potentially dangerous transformer; proposed remedial action, which I agreed, to be carried out when preliminary remedial work has been undertaken. Will be reviewing things further when replacement lighting system has been installed but in the light of this first visit have every confidence that all will be very carried out to a high standard. Overall, my experience of Ynot Renovate is that it is a highly professional and reliable organisation that provides an impressive level of service. Strongly recommended.

Tony recently helped us with our new property. He explained everything and didn’t hesitate to answer any questions we had. He was very patient while we were working around him redecorating the rooms, and flexible in changing the order of jobs. Also stayed late a few times so we met our deadlines.
