One proven measure to reduce emissions, is to have your appliance swept regularly and ideally, twice a year, regardless of whether it has been used only once in a year or every day.
This not only reduces emissions but improves the efficiency of your appliance, therefore making it more economical as well as reducing the risks of carbon monoxide poisoning and the build up of soot and creosote in your flue.
Your insurance may be invalidated without proof of a sweep should the unthinkable happen, even if due to an electrical fault.

Joining happy band of customers! Nine years ago, Robert and Simon installed wood burning stove in our period property. The chimney had to be expertly angled, due proximity of walls/roofs etc., which was managed with great precision. Robert has kept our stove in good working order and swept our chimney bi-annually, since then. He is a fund of knowledge and interest and a delight to converse with. We recommend him 110 per cent!

Needed a Chimney cleaned, the first time in 15 years. The guy turned up, on time and was friendly. The job itself was done quick, clean and with no fuss. Quite a lot of dirt was removed, so really happy I had the work done. He also offered some good advice after the cleaning.
