Historically, the months between October and March have been the worst weather in the UK, but thanks to the effects of climate change, we now face an uncertain future.
Therefore, it would surely be wise to pursue any measures possible to mitigate the effects of climate change, to help ensure a more stable climate for future generations.
One proven measure to reduce emissions, is to have your appliance swept regularly and ideally, twice a year, regardless of whether it has been used only once in a year or every day.
This not only reduces emissions but improves the efficiency of your appliance, therefore making it more economical as well as reducing the risks of carbon monoxide poisoning and the build up of soot and creosote in your flue.
Your insurance may be invalidated without proof of a sweep should the unthinkable happen, even if due to an electrical fault.

This man knows his business inside out and exels at customer relations. He did a speedy, first class job on sweeping our chimney and gave really good advice on our fire surround, on carbon monoxide alarms and legislation on fossil fuel burning. Robert did a very good job in clearing a blocked chimney that had an accumulation of birds nests debris. On completion advice was given on flu ventilators and bird guards to cure the problems. The price quoted was adhered to and was very good value for a job well done. many thanks to Robert.

Rob was a great and friendly guide through as my wife and I installed our first wood burning stove in our cottage. Not knowing where to start Rob came round several times to give us advice and helpful hints making the process really stress free. We have used Robert for a number of years now and are always extremely happy with the service we receive. The text reminders, value area days and his communication are fantastic. He always arrives promptly and carries out his work with minimal disruption to the household. My 5 year old loved going outside to see the brush out of the top of the chimney and making a wish - a really lovely touch! Thanks again Robert and we’ll certainly see you next year!

We had our boiler and fireplace chimneys swept and the work was beautifully done. No mess left after. Robert is a very nice man, good communication as we had to reschedule our initial booking due to some problems at our end.
