Historically, the months between October and March have been the worst weather in the UK, but thanks to the effects of climate change, we now face an uncertain future.
Therefore, it would surely be wise to pursue any measures possible to mitigate the effects of climate change, to help ensure a more stable climate for future generations.
One proven measure to reduce emissions, is to have your appliance swept regularly and ideally, twice a year, regardless of whether it has been used only once in a year or every day.
This not only reduces emissions but improves the efficiency of your appliance, therefore making it more economical as well as reducing the risks of carbon monoxide poisoning and the build up of soot and creosote in your flue.
Your insurance may be invalidated without proof of a sweep should the unthinkable happen, even if due to an electrical fault.

Very impressed with Rob. Cleaned chimney very efficiently and gave extensive advice concerning the other chimney (which has a tree growing in it) and a damp patch in the living room. He went above and beyond the scope of the job and we will definitely be calling him back for further work. Rare and refreshing to find someone so committed to their work.

Having inspected our chimney we were given some practical, honest advice about the fact the chimney wasn't safe to have a fire and the sweeping fee waived. To me this confirms that this is a business that considers safety and honesty before profit which is to be commended. The advice was detailed and sound and if i had a chimney that i could use for a fire, i would have no hesitation in recommending this company!

This is the second year that we have used this service and again it was excellent. The sweep was prompt, courteous and efficient, plus the mess was minimal. Great value for money and the service more then me my expectations. The sweep reminded me of Dick Van Dyke in Mary Poppins and very very cheerful - perfect!
