Quality work from the first enquiry to the completed job. Filled on line enquiry form, I was contacted and an engineer's visit was booked. Ian came and we discussed the installation, I was very happy with the meeting and he contacted me after a few days with a quote based on the actual work to be done. I agreed and an installation team was booked for a 2 day installation. The install team Phil & Joe arrived on time the first day and worked well to get units fixed to walls etc. Day 2: prompt start and the electrician arrived to wire the system up. By the end of the second day we had a fully working A/C system and a lovely cool bungalow. Great work by all who were involved.

We have had a service contract with Bumford Heating for more than 20 years which provides an annual service of our boiler and a quick response in the event of any breakdown of our central heating system during the year. The company has invariably responded promptly.

We moved into this house over 25 years ago. Bumford's did all the heating and plumbing work on the new build back then. Since then the company professionally and cheerfully serviced our "Ideal" boiler annually. Over the years they have fitted shower pump, Hive control system and a new heating pump and new taps, When a minor mistake caused slight damage to decorations there was no hesitation to rectify with a decorator of our choice at no cost to us. What a fantastic team Bumford. Thank you Matt, Joe and Phil for the great job you did fitting our new Worcester Bosch boiler last week. Competent(so rare these days) and hard working professionals. I contacted Robin regarding installation of an air conditioning unit Robin quickly contacted me and completed a site survey the following week Phil, Matt and Joe arrived to install, all were professional and did a great job I would 100% recommend

We recently had a replacement oil-fired wall-mounted boiler fitted by Bumfords. Needless to say it had slightly different dimensions and flue fittings. Access was also restricted by being located above a small downstairs toilet. However the job was completed as scheduled and we couldn't be happier with the result. The finish is better than the original. Bumfords retiled around the boiler and neatened the connecting pipework. Outside matching stone was sourced to fit round the new flue and cover the old access. Great attention to detail and great guys too.

We had a problem with the Worcester boiler (17 years old). It was difficult to start each time it was switched on from cold (sometimes impossible). Engineers Phil and Joe arrived to do the repair but after 90 minutes it transpired that the repairs needed were more extensive than anticipated. At this stage many companies take time out to decide how to do the fix, obtain the necessary spare parts and make a new appointment to complete the job at a later date. This delay didn't happen. After phone calls with Craig, the engineers went to Sheffield to collect the parts and returned promptly. Overall the job was completed within about 5 hours and the boiler fixed satisfactorily. Throughout the process the team kept me up to date with what the problems were and what they were trying to do. The factors which separate companies offering a service is how they react when things go wrong. In the case of Bumford's they go the extra mile and beyond to get the job completed within agreed costs and timescale. With Bumford's this seems to be their normal way of working.
