Where do I start, Cavan is professional, hardworking puts a full day in. We had sofitis, fascia, whole house guttering replaced. Loose tiles and realignment of our porch tiles. Fitted a water butt to catch rain. Worked to schedule and to original quote. We have had a lot of tradesman work for us in past 6 months and Cavan was outstanding I would recommend his services and would definitely use him in the future.

After two previous roofers had failed to make our roof watertight around the chimneys, we found positive reviews of Cavan on Facebook. He came when promised, to look at the job and provided a quote, explaining what needed to be done, and also that he was extremely busy, so it was going to be a while before he could complete the work. When he was able to do the work he made an extremely good and tidy job of it. His enthusiasm and obvious pride in his work shone through. An all together courteous and professional person. When I invited Cavan to take on the construction of a large roof with both pitch and flat features on a new build annexe I knew we would be in excellent hands as his previous work for us in the past had been of the highest quality. His installation of a reclaimed Welsh slate roof at our request looks wonderful and is complemented by the craftsmanship of the leading. Both Cavan and Jake carried out the work just as assiduously as before and to the same highest of standards. I cannot praise Cavan’s workmanship highly enough and to complement this, he is both punctual and courteous, and unfaulting in his communication with us. The rooves were completed on time and to budget; a pleasure to do business with CM Roofing.

After multiple problems with our roof over many years I was really happy to come across Cavan. It was a long job so it was a while before he could fit us in but it was well worth the wait. He and Jake work hard, are unfailingly friendly and polite and seem to gel really well as a team. He advised me when the scaffolding and skip would arrive (both arranged by him). He and Jake turned up on time and kept me up to date with developments. They tidied up every day before leaving. There was a bit of extra work needed doing on a chimney stack but he explained why this was necessary. The roof looks great and for once I won't be dreading the arrival of winter. I would have no qualms about recommending C&M Roofing to anyone.

Our first time using CM Roofing. Cavan arrived to look at the job on time and took a number of photographs of the chimney stack. He used these to describe exactly what the issues were and how he would fix these. A quote arrived the following day. Cavan explained that he was busy but gave a realistic indication when he would be able to start the job. Regular updates on timescales were provided on request. Cavan contacted us a few days before he started the job and arrived on the day promised. He is friendly and a good communicator explaining at every step what he is doing and why. His workmanship is thorough and of the highest quality. Having used a number of roofers in the past he is the best by a country mile. 100% recommend. Do not consider a roofing job without meeting him and getting a quote from CM Roofing.

We are very pleased with the repairs (CM Roofing) Caven and his colleague completed to our roof and cladding to the side of our loft dormer. We had a persistent leak which several roofers were unable to fix. Caven took a different approach to what others had proposed stripping out the old lead, tiles and cladding to the side of the dormer and reinstating the roof tiles with individual pieces of lead under each tile and underneath the new dormer wall cladding. New membrane, cladding and edging trim was fitted to finish a neat and competent job. Other works were undertaken to where the dormer roof connected with the main roof which were part of the problem. All old materials were removed from site and the garden/Astroturf was swept and left clean. The work was completed to a high standard just prior to a series of bad storms with heavy rain which was a good test and I’m pleased there is no sign of water engress. The scaffolding was organised by Caven and was erected on the day arranged. Communication was good and Caven kept me updated as to when the work would be undertaken. Whilst the work wasn’t cheap, this was quality workmanship, which was cost effective and value for money, undertaken on the date scheduled and guaranteed for 2 years. I have no hesitation in recommending Caven CM Roofing.

Highly recommend Cavan. He was so prompt and professional fixing an issue with my roof that was causing internal water damage. Arrived on time, quickly identified and resolved the issue; clearly very knowledgeable and worked carefully and neatly. Cavan Maguire of CM Roofing has looked after our roofing requirements for several years now. Cavan came this time to look at our roof which had a leak. He quickly went up to the roof and noticed it was due to a cracked tile. He did not have to come back as he had the time and knowledge to replace the tile. CM roofing have previously carried out quality work for us including replacing ridge tiles on both our house and our garage.

Cavan carried out a full re-roof on our house over the last 2 weeks. Right from the start with the quote visit and to the end of the job I have been very impressed by Cavan’s professional manner, great communication and customer service skills. They have been punctual each day and have worked hard to complete the work in good time. Both workers were very polite and had a great attitude to their work. Cavan came to investigate a leak - he quickly spotted that some flashing had slipped down leaving a gap for water to get in. He explained that it would be a time consuming and expensive job to take the former tiles off and redo the flashing but that he would try to reposition it without removing the tiles and hopefully stop the leak there and then. He managed to do this and resolve the problem, though he explained that we will probably need to get the dormer reroofed at some point and that would be the time to sort the flashing properly. Would recommend Cavan - prompt, knowledgeable and straightforward to deal with.
