About

Sadly, due to escalating operational costs, we have had to put our Area Day price up to £49.00 per chimney flue. We have tried everything not to put our price up and THANK CUSTOMERS who understand our Area Day pricing, helping to keep the price down and save the planet, little by little. Proudly keeping customers SAFE, at a fair price. We still believe in social distancing as it is an extension to our normal safety measures. We check your carbon monoxide alarm is working and positioned correctly. We carry out smoke test two to check your appliance is working safely.
Traditional chimney sweeps that use both old and new methods to clean and maintain your chimney, keeping you SAFE and WARM.

Established in 1981, we work closely with the industry to keep up with the standards as they evolve.

Fast no fuss and very COVID safe service. Robert installed our log burner a couple of years ago and has swept the flue each year since. Highly recommend.

I would recommend Robert our chimney sweep. He was polite, aware of all safety precautions re covid, did the job quickly and cleanly. He explained extra information to us including carbon monoxide regulations and new best practice on lighting a fire for a greener environment. We were presented with a certificate of standards of work on completion. we will ask him to come back in the spring! Thank you.

First time I have used this service. Robert was late, but called me to tell me why and arrived as promised. He was polite and courteous, answered all my questions about the fire and using the fireplace. He was clean and tidy and efficient.

This is the first time I have used chin-me-sweep and I will most definitely be using them again. Really professional, go above and beyond just sweeping the chimney, they replaced the rope on my wood burner at no extra cost. Would highly recommend and have already recommended to one of my friends

I use this company every year and would not hesitate to recommend to anyone. Efficient and clean service and even in these weird times Covid safe rules very well adhered to with PPE worn at all times. I will be booking again next year without a doubt.

From the time I spoke to Robert on the phone I knew I was going to get great service from him, and I wasn't wrong. He was prompt and provided excellent value for money. He turned up at the agreed time and was very friendly and knowledgeable. I will use him in future for my yearly sweep now.

Robert has swept our chimney, annually, for the last 3 years. He is very thorough, but does the job quickly. The price hasn’t changed in the time I’ve used him. He is very happy to offer advice and I was very impressed with his use of good quality PPE (with this being the first time he’s been to our house since the Covid pandemic began).

PPE is the new safety measure that is needed to keep all our customers safe, as well as checking the carbon monoxide alarm is correctly placed and working, the flue is safe to use, means a happy and safe family home.
