I never understood that pointing was a combination of skill and artistry and a discrete profession within the building trade. Dan patiently help my hand through the process of deciding which colours to use by painting several small areas with different mixes . In fact I never realised that there were different colours and finishes. Existing damaged and marked bricks were invisibly repaired to give a new appearance. The job revived a poorly constructed front entrance to give my house excellent kerb appeal and a very satisfied customer.

Dan and Paul did a fabulous job of pointing the front of our house and patching up bits at the side and back. In extremely inclement weather and with the ongoing Covid situation they kept on track with the work and produced a super result. Given the circumstances they were always extremely cheerful, professional and kept us updated at all times with the works. From what could have been a very dusty job, they kept mess to a minimum and cleaned up each evening. The final amount did not change from the amount quoted. This is the first job, in a long time, where we have had work done to the house and there has not been any issues (which is so refreshing in this day and age). Dan and his colleague Paul were absolutely fantastic. They repointed all the walls of our Victorian end-of-terrace house in lime mortar, and the result is outstanding. From the initial quote, to making test samples of different mixes, to finishing off additional bits once the scaffolding came down, they worked incredibly diligently and with real attention to detail. We couldn't be happier with the result and I would definitely recommend them to anyone. True perfectionists.

I contacted Dan after I saw all his 5 star reviews. Having now experienced his work, I can fully endorse them. He recently re-pointed our wall and I have only praise for the way he went about it. He clearly knows his craft. He was extremely professional, punctual, reasonably priced and tidied up at the end of each day. The finished job looks great.

Front garden wall between our house and next door, has suffered over the years, Dan, once contact was quick to come and give us a quote. He then managed to fit us in earlier than expected due to another job being postponed. In these strange COVID times Dan &, his co-worker, Paul, where happy to be self contained and we really did not know they were there. Work is excellent, done in a timely and tidy manner, with a few interruptions by the English Summer. I would have no hesitations to recommend Dan & Paul.

Dan repointed the back of our terraced house. Very straightforward process for us from start to finish. The site was kept very tidy and cleaned daily. The result is brilliant. Dan kept us informed at each stage and was able to fit round our requirements.

It was very easy to arrange a survey, quote and to plan in dates for the work to be completed. When onsite the area was kept as clean and tidy as possible, and work was completed within four days as originally estimated. Dan was instructed to complete re-pointing and repair work to the walls of my house. While being a small job (3 days) Dan was able to be flexible with the timings and fitted in the work at a time that suited me. The original price quoted was the price I paid on completion. From the start of the process Dan was happy to talk me through the work and was very knowledgeable and happy to explain the processes needed to be done. Dan and his colleague arrived on time and were very polite and professional. The job was messy but they cleaned down every day and left the property looking neat and tidy. While there were 3 snagging issues, as there always will be, these were dealt with quickly and professionally with Dan returning in the week to discuss, confirm and complete the work to my satisfaction. I could not recommend Dan enough.

I'm happy to recommend getting Dan to do your pointing/brickwork. At every stage of the process, from quoting to completion, he was 100% professional, friendly and trustworthy. We were totally happy to leave our keys with him during the day while we were out at work. The work was of an excellent standard and he and Paul worked hard all day (in the rain!) without any fuss. When they left they tidied up really well. I couldn't fault either of them for anything.
