I'm Daniel Bastos, a professional painter and decorator established in the Wimbledon and South West London area for 17 years.
I place exacting and high standards upon myself in the quality of my work and take great pride in the painting and decorating I do… it's getting the detail right that makes all the difference to me, and all the difference to you.
I take on work throughout Wimbledon and Merton, across South West London and Surrey and welcome all kinds of decorating projects from a single room to the whole house.
I have built up a strong list of very satisfied clients who I work for regularly. Consequently a large part of the painting and decorating projects I undertake come through referrals and recommendations. I currently have clients stretching from central London to Guildford.

Daniel and his team redecorated the interior of my house. Mainly painting the walls and ceilings including lining paper where necessary. They did a great job working around me, leaving the house usable when they finished for the day. I was very happy with their work and asked them to paint the outside of the house and do some additional work while they were there. I'm happy to recommend them.

I employed Daniel in 2021 to repaint our kitchen and we were so pleased with the result that we asked them back to do a much bigger job. Daniel and his team had to redecorate a large sitting room, with coving and picture rails and wainscot. This entailed sanding lots of woodwork, sugar soaping the papered ceiling and other painted wall surfaces and repainting, stripping other wallpaper and replacing it. I cannot praise Daniel and his team enough. They arrived punctually, worked very hard and quickly and did the job in super fast time. But it was all done with great care and attention to detail and looks wonderful. They even cleaned our windows afterwards and replaced the big furniture and carpet, all without being asked. I would recommend them to anyone and use them again.

We contacted Daniel to decorate the front of our house as we noticed how dedicated to the job he was whilst working on a house opposite ours. We met with Daniel the day after and immediately trusted him to do the works. We are very satisfied with the end result. Not only Daniel and his team did a quality job within the time quoted, they are also very polite, tidy and have been patient with us taking some time to decide the final finish. I asked Daniel to decorate my lounge and dining room. This involved taking off the existing wallpaper, lining the walls and painting. Daniel was very courteous and good with communication prior to the work happening. Once the work started, he and his colleague turned up on time every day and left the house tidy at the end of each day. They were pleasant, reliable and also cat friendly! (My initially nervous cat ended up loving them!) The work was done to a high standard and I'm very happy with it. I've already asked Daniel to quote for some more work and would recommend him.

Daniel and his assistant painted the outside of our semi detached house. He was very, friendly and professional and was happily flexible to switch from original plans to do the inside to decorating outside due to COVID precautions. His quote was very competitive and he finished the job more quickly than expected. He gave me 3 references who I spoke to and all gave me good reviews. Daniel and his assistant arrived punctually, worked hard and were very clean, tidy and considerate. They prepared everything carefully and paid good attention to detail making good some badly deteriorating woodwork. We are very happy with the finish and would be happy to use Daniel again.

The project was to completely redecorate the exterior of our 4 bedroom house. Daniel and Paulino arrived promptly every day, and carried out all work to a conspicuously high standard, as well as always being cheerful and very helpful. Unexpected extra work was dealt with easily and quickly, and all works were carried out in accordance with the estimate, and at reasonable cost for such a high standard - simply the best decorators we have ever had!
