David painted my living room, hall, stairs and landing. I wanted the work done in Spring 2022. He anticipated the work would take 2 weeks. In February 2022 he indicated he expected to be with me in early May and kept in touch to update me. He started work on 24 May. The work was completed to the timescale of two weeks and the final charge was as per the estimate. David was polite, friendly and conscientious. He arrived promptly each day and I was delighted with the methodical way in which he approached the work. He used a vacuum sander on the larger surfaces so dust was minimised and he vacuumed and cleared up as he went along. There really was no mess left for me to clear up each day which was a godsend. The preparation was really thorough and all his workmanship is of really good quality. The finish is excellent and he has real attention to detail. He was very helpful, being happy to do things like take down blinds and move furniture as needed. I have already asked him to come and decorate my kitchen next spring and would recommend him without hesitation.

From the initial contact, Dave was very quick to respond to requests for a quote. He turned up at the appointed time and submitted his estimate promptly. When a date was set for the work to start, advice about choosing paint colours was very helpful. On the day work started he arrived on time, very clean appearance and set about doing the decorating. His attention to detail was excellent and he was very meticulous in everything he did. The estimated timescale of the job was met and he left the house with a brilliant job done. I can't recommend him highly enough.

David painted our living room. He prepared carefully, filling holes and smoothing the plaster, including removing some old trunking, filling the holes this created, and creating a perfect smooth wall in line with the coving. He had quoted for walls, ceiling and woodwork, but also offered once he had started the work to paint the radiators and pipes. The result is excellent. The walls are smooth and the paintwork is perfect. He even left us some paint to touch up once we remove the curtain poles.

David has completed several decorating jobs for us. He is always professional, reliable and conscientious and we've always been impressed with the quality of his workmanship. On occasions, starting the job has unearthed other issues but David has always been flexible and good at problem solving and his polite and friendly manner make him a very easy person to have in the house. Overall, we will continue to employ David and can't recommend him highly enough.

David painted our sash windows, eaves and conservatory. He works carefully and the paintwork was finished to an extremely high standard. He was always punctual, polite and highly conscientious. We highly recommend him!

David has previously painted and decorated a number of rooms indoors for us and we had no hesitation in asking him to paint the outside of our house. As with the indoor work, David did a great job, excellent paining, very thorough and professional, always on time and very clean and tidy. Work started and finished on time and on budget. it was a pleasure to do business with him. I would be happy to recommend David and will be using him again.

My husband decorated our lounge but it was too much for him to do our dining room, so after reading the excellent reviews about David, I convinced my husband to call him and ask for a quote on our dining room. David came and gave us a quote and we asked him if a date could be arranged after I had decided about whether to change our curtain tracks. He was so patient because it took me several weeks to make up my mind. The date was agreed and David was fantastic. The cracks on the walls were pointed out but he found others that we had missed. I expected lots of dust to go through to the Lounge but it did not. David arrived on time, worked hard, was friendly and polite and cleaned up. I am still amazed at how he did it without any mess. As we have never used a decorator before and my husband is a perfectionist, the night before David came, he said he hoped the room would be ok. YES we are both very happy with his work and certainly recommend him and when any future decorating is needed, I know who to call. Thank you very much David.

David has done a fabulous job of plastering and painting our hallway and shower room. Nothing was too much trouble and his work was of a very high standard. I have therefore asked him to quote for further jobs.

David has just finished painting the complete inside of our home. I don’t know where to begin; what a fantastic job. David is a perfectionist at what he does. He is extremely helpful and professional; very reliable and hard working and a really nice person. I would highly recommend him.
