I took in the ‘back’ cushions of a large sofa which had collapsed after a few years of boisterous kids using them in pillow fights… Dee Cee did an incredible job re-stuffing them, making them firmer and more comfortable than ever! I’m so impressed by the professionalism and quality of service. The cost feels a bit high, but for the level of service it’s definitely fair.

Derek was friendly & highly professional.He supplied an estimate which he kept to and did the work on time .He supplied polyester reinforcement to 5 cushions from our 2 Multi York sofas .He also renewed the foam , recovered & fitted a new stanchion to our large stool and made 4 arm covers for the sofas. He went out of his way to find the best colour matches for the fabrics and delivered the finished work to our home. All the work was done to the highest standard . He is a true master craftsman and his work is worth every penny .Would definitely recommend him .

Initially I wanted to re-cover an otherwise perfectly good bucket chair. In the end, I had the chair re-upholstered and re-covered as the difference in price wasn't that extortionate. Dee Cee picked up my enquiry promptly and were able to provide the various options open to me. They provided quotes for both a straight re-cover and a full re-upholster of the chair. I chose material from their stock range so I don't know how much more expensive it would have been had I asked about material not in their stock. The chair was collected and delivered at no additional cost. Dee Cee were professional throughout, kept me updated and kept to their original quote. I am very pleased with the finished product and from an environmental perspective, worth every penny.

I have used Dee Cee a number of times over the years, from buying an Ottoman to having a piece of furniture restored. Today I went to the shop to buy some foam for a problem in my car!! From the first enquiry to the finished job, we were delighted with the service that Derek, Karen and his co-worker (sorry, can't remember his name!) provided. Our sofa bed, which we'd bought secondhand three years ago and which we wanted reupholstered to blend in with the rest of our decoration and furniture, now looks new. Though we are no experts, the quality of workmanship is plain to see; and the service from picking up the sofa to return (2 weeks) was excellent and, most importantly, to the date specified and price agreed. Needless to say, we'd highly recommend Dee Cee and would certainly consider using them again if needing further furniture renovation.

Having brought 2 large sofas with 4 feather filled back cushions we were unhappy with the look, as after use they flopped down and needed constant attention to look like they had any substance. Having discussed this with Derek at Dee Cee he recommended a solution to remove feathers and replace with a high-quality cut to size and shaped foam. Work was carried out quickly ,professionally and the finished result was amazing (Happy Wife etc) The cost was better than expected and we will not hesitate to use Dee Cee in the future and recommend them to others .

I have used Dee Cee Upholstery before for upholstery work, and always found their work to be top-notch; and I recently decided to try them on a repair job on the frame of a dining room chair that had become wobbly and needed serious attention. Friends had said that all was needed was to insert screws into the loose joints, but fortunately I decided to ask Derek what he would do, and he said that, for a proper job, one would need to disassemble the chair and replace the dowels of the joints. I am so happy I went to him: they did a fantastic repair to the chair and now I am sure that it will last for years + he even, at my request, replaced the chair leg pads, which I was very grateful for, as I am so tired of doing this myself with stick-on felt pads that usually come off after a few months. At Dee Cee Upholstery, they do it properly with screw-on felt pads, and this was a great discovery for me.

We brought in an armchair made by my grandfather and in need of repair and recovering to fit the colours of our newly decorated front room. We chose the material and the work was done brilliantly. We were a little apprehensive whether it would be money well spent but we need not have worried and it is perfect and there is material left over for some new cushions. Thank you Derek. It was worth every penny.

Original pvc covering had worn through badly. Replaced with a much thicker pvc and renewed cushioning.

From providing the initial quote, to the work being completed, Derek and Karen were an absolute pleasure to deal with. They provided a timely quote and were able to complete the work to our timescales. The chairs were returned today and have been reupholstered to a high standard. Ordered two recliners and they were delivered and assembled without fuss and at the time advised. The old chairs were removed at the same time. Very pleased with the service.

I had a stool upholstered - great choice of fabric, quick and easy visit to drop off the item, invoice provided via email, beautiful finished product. The owner was knowledgeable about furniture and told me a bit about the stool which was interesting. Very professional service all around.

Dee Cee Upholstery did a great job re-uphostering two special chairs that had become rather tired. They did it in the time frame they'd promised, at a reasonable price, and to a high standard. Very pleased and would definitely use them again

I have used Dee Cee several times over the past thirty years. Again, excellent service and workmanship as usual.

We wanted new cushions and seat pads for our cherished sofa and went to Dee Cee upholstery for these. On visiting the store the service we got was fantastic and after discussion and advice from the lady in the store we ordered the cushion interiors and they were going to rewrap and change wadding on seat pads as the foam was okay. This was all arranged quickly and efficiently and we arranged to drop covers off so they could put them on the new interiors and the seat pads for us. They asked us to call back the following week to pick up the cushions and pads. During the week we damaged one off the seat pad covers in our washing machine so we called into Dee Cee and they said this was no problem and would put new matching materiel on seat pad and all would be available to collect as arranged within a few days. We called to collect on the Thursday and all was done as promised with new cushions and rewrapped, repaired seat pads which matched perfectly with our sofa. I would highly recommend Dee Cee upholstery for their great service and expertise.

Having just had my wing chair reupholstered I asked Dee Cee to recover a stool to match the chair. Once again they did an excellent job the chair and stool matching one another perfectly.
