Stained Glass Encasement - Attention to Detail, Great Reaults

I will give recommendations when it's deserved, and I have to say Finesse did a great job. We had eight stained glass panes encapsulated, principally to warm the house but we wanted to retain the character you only get from aged stained glass. I was concerned this might be lost in the move from old wooden frames to UPVC, but am extremely pleased how they turned out. They fitted the UPVc frames when they removed the Stained Glass, so we benefitted from a warmer/quieter house immediately. Ok, there were some things that didn't go to plan as part of the install, and to be fair to Finesse they pointed out some of these challenges up front, e.g. getting the wooden frames out. They handled the issues with professionalism and courtesy, the quality of the finish is excellent. It is a specialist job and they had the skills, experience and skilled staff. The pricing at their own admission is higher than other companies, however I don't think I would have got the same level of service from others, and indeed having used a variety of other Window companies these are by far the best. Highly recommended and will use them again for sure!

New window fitted

Finesse replaced my sitting room window. I have used the company before to install new doors and they have always been prompt and done good work. I needed to replace a large window and as a previous customer, Finesse had emailed me about a forthcoming price increase, but if an order was placed by a certain date, this increase could be avoided. I visited the showroom and after the window was measured, a price was given, contract issued, and I was given a contact at the showroom. Work was carried out on schedule, vey efficient and debris was cleared up afterwards. Information was provided about operating and cleaning, and later on I was sent a BFRC Energy Rating Certificate. A few weeks later Finesse dropped off a spray cleaner for the window and a bottle of wine - a nice touch! I will definitely use them again!

Discovering my smart, fairly new front door would not lock, early on a Sunday morning, I telephoned Finesse. By ten thirty, a skilled technician had appeared and made the necessary adjustments. He gave helpful advice for future maintenance. A superb response - and a quick end to my sense of panic.

We have used Finesse before and were happy to go back to them. This time we were having two front bedroom windows fitted and were a bit concerned that our fairly recent work to redecorate and carpet our bedroom would be ruined as the old frames looked difficult to remove. But on the day, Dave and Mike, the fitters, were fantastic. They were a delight to have around and listened carefully to our concerns. They understood exactly and worked around the problems to leave our wallpaper, paint and carpet in perfect condition. They were willing to work into early evening on a Friday to get it all finished. Very impressed and the windows are of the usual high quality. Thanks guys.

Finesse, an appropriate name for a Great company

This is not the first time we have used Finesse Windows, in fact, we have used the firm several times over the years. Recently we needed our Patio Door replacing due to old age. From our initial enquiry, right through to installation and aftercare, we could not have been happier with the end-to-end service delivered by all at Finesse. Our salesperson, Tony, took the time to deliver all of our available options. In addition, his sales process was very focused on our needs and came without any form of pressure. Throughout, Tony made sure that we were happy with design, installation and cost. Once our order was placed, we received regular as well as informative updates on progress. As a result of pressures on the supply chain, we were advised that we would have to wait. However, all at Finesse were upfront and honest about the timescales we could expect. Before fitting, we were visited by Lee who spent time talking to us about what we should expect when work began. Lindsey, Finesse's Client Relationship Coordinator, talked us through the process when the time came to have our Patio fitted. On the day, our fitters Darren and Sam came to our home on time as well as prepared to complete their work. They spent time and put a lot of effort into not just fitting the Patio but also ensuring that we were happy with their work. Despite all the work done, they left our home in perfect condition. What a great service! From no pressure sale through to a stress free installation with good communication from the company. My wife and I were very impressed with Finesse and over the moon with our new porch. I was a bit wary of engaging another double glazing company as the previous two, we have used, have promised a lot but delivered inferior service and products. The sales meeting with Finesse was friendly and quite layed back. ( No phoning the manager to see if he is in a good mood to provide a better price!!) The price quoted was, we felt, very reasonable. The meeting with the surveyor was equally friendly and he gave us ideas and suggestions we had not previously considered. The installation was excellent. Managed by Darren, who himself was an excellent advert for the company, it went better than we could have imagined. The only issue was that I had ordered the wrong letterbox and it really didn't go with the porch and surround. There was a "no problem" attitude and it was changed at no extra cost. I'm nosy and always ask the workers what the company is like as an employer. Everyone we met from Finesse spoke warmly about the company. How nice. It gave us both a huge amount of confidence in the company we had chosen. We'll certainly use them again. Such a nice friendly company.

Finesse fitted my conservatory three years ago. Yesterday morning I contacted them because one of the patio doors was difficult to lock in cold weather. They came out within three hours and fixed it immediately. I chose Finesse originally having heard so much about their wonderful service, and having had to call upon it yesterday, I can honestly say how delighted I am that I did choose them. After care service is a rarity these days but I can say the Finesse Windows team are amazing at it! Thank you so much.
