The model is Canopy Up&Over garage door manufactured by Novofern UK Ltd. The door was not installed properly by the builders a year ago but never worked properly from day one. It was difficult to open & close with a bang. It never stayed open. I had to use a stick to hold it up. I had to call a friend to help open & close the garage every time. I paid the builder for a new garage door. They subcontracted the door to a lousy installer who made a mess of the job. Builder said I was not tall enough & the door was too heavy for me to operate. ( I am 5ft 6inch 56kg & elderly) After a year without a functional garage, I found Garage Door London ltd. They have many happy customers, very well run, and quick response. They sent a surveyor to detail the repair work needed at their own expense. Their most experienced installer came. It took him 3 hrs to adjust the door, replace the mangled up cables and oil the bits. He even watched me open & close the door 3 times to make sure I can operate it easily, as I am elderly. The whole process took a week. It works like a dream, and I even get 2 weeks to settle their itemized invoice. All for a very reasonable price of £180. I would recommend this excellent company to anybody.

Very pleased with our new compact roller garage door. Great service from initial survey to a small fix required after fitting, which was resolved promptly. Fitters were very professional, cleared up themselves and took away our old door. Would highly recommend.

I visited the Garage Doors showroom at Batford Mill Harpenden viewed the various garage doors and the working mechanisms. Service and good advice from the sales staff fully explained the various garage door options with no pressure to purchase from the saleman. Choose the Hormann electric door with a texture finish the manufactured door was delivered in the time quoted. Mark the fitter arrived exactly on time and he explained the work he was to under take. Removed the old garage door and frame work without causing any damage to the brickwork. He then installed the mechanism/track connected the power and fitted the door. Works beautifully the installation is superb which is a testament to his workmanship. Many thanks again for a quality door and great workmanship.

We ordered a sectional garage door. It took a few months to arrive but the communication from George was clear and quick. George came over to do a quote - he was friendly and professional, as was the man who came to fit the door. Overall a really good service. The door is of high quality.

I recently purchased a manual up and over replacement garage door from Garage Doors Ltd in Harpenden. The whole process was easy from my initial contact to the site visit, quote and then placing the order. The work was completed within forty eight hours of actually finalising the order. Work on site was quick and the site was left clean. All in all I’m very pleased with the outcome.

Called them over Xmas to look at my roller garage door, they responded on 4 Jan (no one else did) and came out on 11 Jan to effect a simple repair. They warned me that the motor is not going to last and this eventually packed up 11 Feb. They came back on 15 Feb and replaced the motor. Very efficient and quick with their service.
