Gregor Heating

A new chap from Gregor's this time. As with all others he was polite and very efficient. All the technicians from the company are very tidy in their work and leave the place very clean. They bring all their own stuff so do not rely on you providing steps etc. So far all have also been dog friendly so my dog is very happy! Excellent service as ever from a very efficient company

ASHP, radiator, PV, battery and UFH installation to the highest standard. Prompt, friendly and professional service during installation and ongoing support as needed afterwards. Highly recommended.

I had to wait nearly a month for an appointment; they are busy. They gave a wide arrival forecast, 8 am-1 pm which I'm not too impressed with. But Matt? phoned to say when he was arriving and came on time. He was cheerful and friendly. He knew what he was talking about and did a good job. He serviced my solar thermal heating system and assured me that all was well with it. I would recommend Gegory on the basis of this service.

I had my yearly boiler service today 20/01/26. The Engineer, Mark, was very polite, and helpful. Also, he made sure everything was clean and tidy, when he finished. Very happy 😊

Our radiators downstairs were showing their age and some had leaked in the past. We had a prompt quote from Gregor Heating to replace 5 radiators plus the connecting piping. We were given a date for the work about 3 weeks after giving the go-ahead. The radiators were delivered promptly on the agreed date, followed shortly by the engineer to do the work. He was very friendly, explained what he was going to do, and then got on with it. He worked quickly and it all took less time than I had anticipated. When it was finished he tidied up and removed all the rubbish to his van. The radiators look good and work well. I would recommend the firm and would not hesitate to use them again.

We experienced an intermittent problem with our boiler that was very difficult to get to the bottom of. We think that it has now been fixed but only time will tell. Our initial contact with Gregor a few weeks ago was not too good as we were unable to find someone to discuss the nature of the problem with. Subsequent phone calls were excellent and we were fitted in at extremely short notice. We have used Gregor on many previous occasions.

Gregor Plumbing and Heating recently fitted our new boiler. We had a number of quotes but we went with Gregor because from the start you could tell they were different. The engineer who came out to assess and offer the quote was courteous, professional and friendly. He didn’t try any hard sell or try to sell us something we didn’t need. A date was agreed when to fit the appliance that was favourable to us. They were on time, efficient, professional and explained everything as they worked through the day. Once installed they tested the boiler, taking time to explain how it worked. Cleaned up after themselves and removed the old boiler and packaging. 1 year free service also provided. I highly recommend this company.

The annual boiler service was carried out with the usual efficiency I have experienced with Gregor over many years. The person who came had been before, a very nice man who gave high praise of the actual boiler and its workings. He suggested advice on how we can treat it even better and make it work better for us - e g, don't have it set too low or it just cools down, wasting gas! I promised to tell the 'gas fairy' who is the one who mucks about with the controls. Concerning the price, I already knew what to expect and at £90 inc vat it was perfectly reasonable.

We chose a suitable date and time for us. They arrived on time and conducted the work in a professional manner. It was impressive to see that the new boiler arrived in readiness for fitting by another provider. The plumber (Connor) was excellent throughout the fitting. He coordinated with the delivery of the new boiler and the electrician to appear and undertake his side of the fittings as and when he was required. There was no down/wasted time in waiting for any aspect. The briefing on the new boiler was undertaken without any hassle. It was a pleasure to have had the work undertaken and all materials were taken offsite, again without hassle. Prior to this we had a recce by the Installation Manager who advised us as to what we required to fit our needs and he was also very knowledgable and helpful. The support from the firm with paperwork, payment etc. has been exemplary and could not outline any problem/s with the process. I would classify this firm as a traditional old world firm who do what they say they will do with no hassle to the customer - a rarity in today's modern age! I would strongly recommend this provider.

Having selected Gregor Heating to install a new boiler 10 years ago we were completely satisfied with their work and competitive price. Since then they have sent a friendly and competent engineer to carry out a thorough service each year.
