Gregor Heating

I initially had a poor experience with Gregor Heating when the install of a new cylinder and conversion of system from vented to unvented system due to some unfortunate install issues. However, they resolved the issues and I came back to them to replace our failed boiler at short notice. Gregors worked really hard to turn everything around and my view has taken a complete U-turn. My experience with their sales team and the installer was very positive and I am very happy with the install of the new boiler and service. I would recommend Gregor Heating.

We self built 10 years ago but our original air source pump often gave us trouble and we have now had to replace it. From the start of this process, everyone at Gregor has been excellent. The initial advice and support instilled confidence and the week of the replacement was faultless. All the team were prompt, Covid aware and punctual. They worked efficiently and left the site clean and tidy each evening. The level of professionalism was impressive and they were all cheerful and friendly, working extremely well together. We have now decided to commission some more work from them to fit an electric vehicle charger and solar panels and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone interested in alternative energy.

The work was of an exceptional standard and completed with minimal disruption although involving a lot of hidden pipework. Writing here on a frosty Bristol 1° morning, it's toasty warm thanks to the boys and girls from Gregor. A. Adam, arrived on the Wednesday, prompt, smart and courteous, following all covid protocol and most importantly listened. Listened to my requirements on a replacement combi boiler, and gave me a quote that suited my needs. A quick turnaround appointment was made. B. Builder John had the graft of lifting up garden slab outside to accommodate excess boiler water. He done this without breaking it, and a professional job makes it look like his work has been there forever. C. Craige M was the front of shop... first in, last out main contact and installer we all hope to wish for. Punctual, polite, professional, quiet, respectful of my antique animals, and handy to answer all my silly questions. Also, really explained well to me, a dinosaur, thermostat options. Summary. After the Gregor advert board caught my eye at The Mem, from start to finish I am impressed with the service I received. What I found best was the no hard sale, I was a customer with knowledge of what I wanted and Gregor fitted in and around that. All delivered with respecting covid restrictions and confidence in their product, and installed by their own (rather sub contracted) team. If Gregor ever wanted to get into the dating game, can they deliver just as good old boiler as the new one I've received?!

Right from the quote and on the day of installation, Gregor provided a friendly and professional service throughout with our boiler replacement. The work was completed in a day with consultation on what was going to happen and communication throughout. The area was tidied up after completion and everything made good to a high standard.

From the first call to book a quotation to the final fitting of the boiler I experienced professional, timely and warm service. I never felt pressurised to go for a more expensive boiler, I felt their feedback was honest. When the boiler was fitted the technician Craig was fantastic and showed great attention to detail, he had a few problems but he worked through them to get the job done in a day. Only problem I had was trying to pay the final invoice, getting through on the telephone and the online payment option not working.

Gregor heating removed my broken back boiler and fitted a combi boiler. From quote through installation their service was very professional. I was pleased they insured on scaffolding for roof work for safety of the fitter. Other companies could take a risk On that aspect. They arrived on the date booked and completed on time. The fitter was tidy and informative. There was an issue with scaffolding breaking a roof tile but the team ensured it was fixed. Very pleased.

We asked Gregor - and two other local companies - to quote for a replacement for our 25 year old boiler. Adam visited and talked us through the pros and cons of various options - type of boiler, site of boiler, routes of new water and gas pipes, etc. He explained things clearly and left a detailed, itemised quotation. On the day the project was handled by Conor. He was very professional too. He laid protective sheets throughout the house and worked tidily and quickly. He also smoothly coordinated timings so that others came in to do their part at just the right time - for example, electrician. Conor was very impressive - hard working, personable and happy to explain what he was doing at each stage. I also need to mention John, who did an excellent job in making good the wall around the flue taking great care to match the bricks. I would be very happy to use Gregor again and to recommend them to others. I was left with the impression that they care about their work and take pride in doing a job to a standard that they would want if it was their own home.

New boiler fitted over 3 days. Fitter worked really hard making as little disruption as possible. Excellent quote compared with British Gas. Replacement boiler was not like for like but all potential problems were anticipated and addressed before work started and all our questions fully answered. Would definitely recommend

Gregor have installed a complete central heating system for us this week. From the survey and quote with Adam to completing the work on Friday, it was outstanding. Adam knew exactly what we needed and gave a reasonable quote within our budget. Conor the engineer arrived on Monday and explained everything that he was going to do that day. He has been polite, respectful and very easy going considering we have a chaotic house with a brand new puppy arriving that day! He worked so hard to get everything finished on time and was cheery and happily singing all week. He works to a high standard and was clean and tidy throughout protecting carpets, furniture and keeping doors closed for puppy safety! I was dreading this installation as I knew how much work there was to do but thanks to Conor its been great and we now have heating that works well. He is an asset to Gregor Heating and we would highly recommend.
