Gregor Heating

We asked Gregor - and two other local companies - to quote for a replacement for our 25 year old boiler. Adam visited and talked us through the pros and cons of various options - type of boiler, site of boiler, routes of new water and gas pipes, etc. He explained things clearly and left a detailed, itemised quotation. On the day the project was handled by Conor. He was very professional too. He laid protective sheets throughout the house and worked tidily and quickly. He also smoothly coordinated timings so that others came in to do their part at just the right time - for example, electrician. Conor was very impressive - hard working, personable and happy to explain what he was doing at each stage. I also need to mention John, who did an excellent job in making good the wall around the flue taking great care to match the bricks. I would be very happy to use Gregor again and to recommend them to others. I was left with the impression that they care about their work and take pride in doing a job to a standard that they would want if it was their own home.

New boiler fitted over 3 days. Fitter worked really hard making as little disruption as possible. Excellent quote compared with British Gas. Replacement boiler was not like for like but all potential problems were anticipated and addressed before work started and all our questions fully answered. Would definitely recommend

Gregor have installed a complete central heating system for us this week. From the survey and quote with Adam to completing the work on Friday, it was outstanding. Adam knew exactly what we needed and gave a reasonable quote within our budget. Conor the engineer arrived on Monday and explained everything that he was going to do that day. He has been polite, respectful and very easy going considering we have a chaotic house with a brand new puppy arriving that day! He worked so hard to get everything finished on time and was cheery and happily singing all week. He works to a high standard and was clean and tidy throughout protecting carpets, furniture and keeping doors closed for puppy safety! I was dreading this installation as I knew how much work there was to do but thanks to Conor its been great and we now have heating that works well. He is an asset to Gregor Heating and we would highly recommend.

I was recommended Gregor heating by a friend having had a boiler leak. Due to the age of my boiler I decided to purchase a new one. Adam, who came to give us the quote arrived on time, did all the necessary checks and tests to be able to advise us of the most suitable boiler for our needs. He didn’t try to sell us the most expensive boiler, the quote was very reasonable, unlike a local tradesman who gave us a quote. The fitter Craig turned up promptly on the installation day, he was professional, efficient, clean and tidy. The electrician arrived later in the day and set up the Hive for us. I am very impressed and would definitely recommend Gregor Heating. I now have the peace of mind that I have a new boiler but that later down line I can have a maintenance contract with them.

I have had my old boiler replaced and have been very impressed with the standard of work right from the visit for a quotation until the work was completed a few weeks later. Craig arrived at the time arranged and worked consistently and quietly all day, preparing the house with sheeting and leaving everywhere clean and tidy, a pleasure to have in my home. Everything was explained to me clearly and everything is working well. My only problem is with the manual for the thermostat which may as well be in Greek for all I can understand it!! I've found a more user friendly version on line so no problem! I shall have no hesitation in recommending Gregor to anyone needing a boiler.

We were dreading having our central heating and boiler replaced as we knew it would mean floorboards up and a lot of chaos! Adam was brilliant when he quoted and made the work sound straightforward and easy. He advised us on the designer radiators we wanted and answered all of our many questions. Gregor managed to fit us in earlier than we had anticipated and Craig completed the job sooner than expected. He was always here at the time he said, was really neat and we are really happy with the end result. I would highly recommend Gregor Heating - from quote to install everything ran smoothly.

Just had boiler and radiators replaced by Gregor. We were very impressed with the professional service right from the initial quote. We chose Gregor although not the cheapest quote we sourced, as they were knowledgeable and professional. When we had to reschedule, they were accommodating and helpful. Conor completed the installation and was a pleasure to have in our home. He took care with our property and happily closed doors behind him to keep the cat in - just as happy to rescue the cat from under floorboards once when necessary. He was a great communicator, keeping us informed about the progress of the job over the five days. A thorough, knowledgable, clean, highly professional experience provided throughout. We could not recommend them highly enough.

We were very impressed with the service from start to finish. The initial quote was given under no pressure whatsoever. Craige the engineer arrived at the time agreed and talked us through the procedure. Plastic covering was put on all flooring for protection. Craige was an absolute delight to have in the house, he worked tirelessly and to a very high standard, clearing all mess as he worked. Friendly, punctual, informative and explained the workings of the new boiler. All rubbish was removed promptly. Excellent service and would highly recommend.

We had Gregor Heating replace an old boiler in a house we had recently moved into. We also asked them to shut off the Aga hot water and add a couple of electric sockets as well. They weren’t the cheapest quote we got but we were impressed by the thorough and professional approach of Adam when he visited us. The work was completed last week and we are delighted. The boiler work was carried out by Conor who was polite, professional, and always kept us up to date with progress. All the required PPE kit was used, and completely clean at the end of each of the three days. At the end of the job Conor gave me a thorough walkthrough of the boiler controls, before leaving us with a comprehensive user manual and service pack. Our opinion of Gregor Heating is that they are simply a quality company, professional in everything they do - happy to recommend them unreservedly.

Excellent service from Gregor from the initial phone call enquiry to the installation which has just been completed by Conor, with Lee completing the electrical part. We are very pleased with the installation. I was impressed when he arrive promptly and put down plastic sheeting to protect our carpets. Very proficient, quick worker who obviously took pride in what he did and who cleared up before be left. Everything about the new boiler was explained in detail and we received some useful advice. The Installation was done in a professional manner, very friendly Fitter and clean worker, left everything clean and tidy afterwards. Gregor heating did a very efficient job on Tuesday 17th March 2020 when they removed an old boiler and put in a new one. And not only the job on the day but in the organisation beforehand to book us in and prepare for the installation. My tenants were very impressed at the operation to remove the old boiler and install the new and are delighted with their new one. Your installation team were considerate and careful not to inconvenience my tenants, upstairs and down. And in the middle of the breaking news and chaos surrounding the Corona virus they all kept a sense of humour and an obvious ability to work as a team. I will be more than happy to use Gregor again.

Really good customer service - there was an issue with gas pressure for the new boiler but the fitter got the gas people in really quickly. Kept informed throughout and a really neat tidy job done. Also good value. They were also happy to help go over the instructions for operation. I would definitely recommend them.

Excellent and prompt response to our phone call, for an Engineer to call and sort out the problem we were having with the old back boiler. Adam the Engineer said that the boiler had finally reached the stage where any replacements were costly and hard to obtain, so we decided to go for a combi boiler, and Adam gave us a quote for the installation, which was well below another quote that we had. We accepted the quote, and on the 6th of February, Mark the Engineer arrived early and we were amazed how quickly he had got out the tanks from the attic and also the immersion heater.we had to go out and by the time we got back all the old equipment had been removed from the front garden. Certainly, a hard days work by Mark, who came the next day and by early afternoon had completed the work and said that an Electrician would call shortly to install all the Electrics. Lee arrived and promptly finished off the control system and then explained how the system worked before departing. We struggled a bit with the system for a few days and decided to call Gregor for an Engineer to call and give us further advice with the control settings. A short time later Adam called and gave us more information on how best to use our new system, which we now can control quite easily. Really great service, start to finish. Quick quote, great price, really helpful and professional staff. Connor was brilliant fitting he worked really hard and was very professional, friendly and clean. He also explained everything really well. Michelle in the office answered all my questions and was really helpful as well. Great company and great service, would not hesitate to use again.
