Just wanted to jump on here to say thank you so much to ‘GWS Roofing’ for the extremely efficient and satisfactory work they have just finished on our building. We seem to have had problem after problem with not only the roof but other roofing companies who have either let us down or not spotted other problems which have then led onto other issues. This has been going on for over a year so as you can imagine we were extremely happy when GWS said they could come out to price up the work and get started only the week after the job was looked at. We are based in London so thought there would be huge issues the minute the lockdown started, but GWS went above and beyond to stay in touch with me about how they were going to tackle the issues, by this point the scaffolding was already up but the work had barely even started, I was thrilled to find out they would carry on as normal to finish the job and were super careful and professional in regards to the PPI they used and precautions they took to keep their distance from us and each other. The work was finished before we knew it and couldn’t be happier. Thank you so so much! Will be recommending this company to anyone who needs any roof work and will be using them again if we ever need any help on our other buildings.

GWS have, yet again, saved the day. We returned from Christmas to find our guttering and drainpipes had failed resulting in two rooms being damaged by rain. GWS came and assessed the situation; within a couple of days they had erected a scaffolding tower and by the end of the week the problem was efficiently resolved, saving us from the next bout of heavy rain and high winds. Thank you very much GWS!

We were recommended to this company through our surveyors and have been very pleased with the way that the work has gone. The team who did the installation work were excellent; they were professional, worked tidily and with awareness of the church location and users of the property. Even one small snag spotted by our surveyor was fixed within 24 hours.

This firm of roofers was a welcome relief from those normally in the trade. From the first estimate to completion of the job each person I encountered was polite, professional and considerate. The job they did was thorough and well done. And they were tidy too.

GWS replaced a section of gutter. We have used them three or four times before, including to re-slate the roof. The service overall is impeccable: friendly, straightforward, and approachable, with clear explanations about what the job entails, clarity about schedules, and an almost instant response to queries. As we have found in the past, the operatives on this job took a quiet, serious and efficient approach to the work, and were pleasant and friendly throughout. We strongly recommend GWS without reservation .

We had a real and difficult problem with our flat roof and collapsing wooden decking. Joe from GWS came round promptly, amongst other roofers, but he was definitely a cut above the rest. A stepped approach was identified that would deal with the immediate problem and then we could discuss the bigger requirements. Never felt under any pressure to agree anything and we moved seamlessly from addressing the initial problem quickly to working on the decking and maintenance of the main roof. Pricing was fair and all difficult matters were discussed and agreed up front with no additional costs for dealing with the unforeseen. Cannot recommend them too highly.

I first used GWS roofing in 2014 for work to the roof terrace at my old address. The work they carried out was excellent, within time specified, on budget. I was very pleased. Once again I have turned to them for roof-repairs to my new house. Once again they have turned up when they said they would, estimated clearly and transparently, commenced the work on the date specified and carried out excellent work. Throughout, they have been courteous, friendly and completely trustworthy. Because of this they have lots of work. So you may have to wait a while before they can start work. I think it is worth the wait.
