GWS replaced a section of gutter. We have used them three or four times before, including to re-slate the roof. The service overall is impeccable: friendly, straightforward, and approachable, with clear explanations about what the job entails, clarity about schedules, and an almost instant response to queries. We had a real and difficult problem with our flat roof and collapsing wooden decking. Joe from GWS came round promptly, amongst other roofers, but he was definitely a cut above the rest. A stepped approach was identified that would deal with the immediate problem and then we could discuss the bigger requirements. Never felt under any pressure to agree anything and we moved seamlessly from addressing the initial problem quickly to working on the decking and maintenance of the main roof. Pricing was fair and all difficult matters were discussed and agreed up front with no additional costs for dealing with the unforeseen. Cannot recommend them too highly.

I first used GWS roofing in 2014 for work to the roof terrace at my old address. The work they carried out was excellent, within time specified, on budget. I was very pleased. Once again I have turned to them for roof-repairs to my new house. Once again they have turned up when they said they would, estimated clearly and transparently, commenced the work on the date specified and carried out excellent work. Throughout, they have been courteous, friendly and completely trustworthy. Because of this they have lots of work. So you may have to wait a while before they can start work. I think it is worth the wait.

Gulley and slates were left in a poor state by a previous roofer. GWS gave me a comprehensive report on what needed doing, what was vital and what was not. The completed lead work on the gulley looks fantastic and all of the tiles have been reseated properly. All work was carried out to time and to budget. What a relief to find a good, honest roofer!

The planned work was a change of the gutter pipe inside a narrow gutter box at the roof level. GWS Roofing made an initial quote for this work before opening the gutter box (which they could only do when starting the work). They discovered a quite deficient gutter once they opened the gutter box. They were very good at advising me that more work than initially expected was needed since the whole structuring of the gutter had to be replaced, to find the best way to sort the problem in a very narrow space within the gutter box and to let me know about the additional costs incurred by this unexpected work. The outcome was globally very satisfying. They moreover showed what the problem was so there is no doubt about the fact that the additional work was indeed needed. I am very stasified by the work done and the information flow and would stronlgy recommend this roofing company.
