We invited JC Windows to advise us on the construction of a conservatory/orangery on the rear of a house we had recently moved into and Mark came on 8 April 2021 to carry out a survey and discuss the construction with us. We were assured that they had employees who formed 2 teams so there would be no problem with the supply chain. What we got was something totally different. The tradesmen carrying out work were in fact sub-contractors, not employees and we finished up having to deal with and contact these direct in order to have continuity of the job. As part of the agreement we requested that the level of the floor in the conservatory be made the same as the kitchen as we intended to remove the doors and have the kitchen flow into the conservatory and to have a continuous floor and were assured this would be done. We agreed a price of over £23,000. The ground was cleared and made ready to build but a number of delays arose due to supply problems with concrete for the base. When the bricklayers arrived to commence, they were abusive, rude and kept disappearing from the site. On completion of the work we requested a visit from JC Windows and they agreed to knock down the walls and pillars as the workmanship was of poor quality. We have now found that the original base was not level or the same height as our kitchen. as a result the skirting boards left gaps and we have a slope between the two rooms. We have had this put right ourselves. JC Windows gave little support.

We had a patio door, front door and some cladding fitted. Both fitters were exceptional, very polite, did an excellent job of fitting and lots of attention to detail in finishing off an all-round brilliant fit. Arrived on date given. Price paid was as quoted. Cleared up all the mess, nothing too much trouble. Looks fantastic would highly recommend JC WINDOWS.

I can, without doubt, recommend JC windows. The work was carried out to perfection and could not be faulted. The fitters went out of their way to ensure a good service.

JC Windows fitted two windows in our flat. We used them again as we were entirely satisfied with the windows and doors they replaced on our home earlier this year. Once again great service and product and keenly priced.

JC Windows have just fit a new door for me the work men were good and quick and they didn't leave a mess. The door fits really well I am very pleased with it. I would recommend them.

J C windows have done an excellent job in raising our pitched glass roof to a flat roof and installing a lantern. The original roof, windows and patio doors needed to be removed in order to build higher brick columns to support the new roof as well as change the original window sizes. The job was complex as we needed to retain the original kitchen units and were very concerned about water ingress. Rather than removing the roof John insisted it was put on acro props with visqueen nailed to it to protect the kitchen from rain damage and thank goodness for that decision because we had terrible weather and lots of rain but thankfully our kitchen units were fine. John’s fitters Gaz and Byron have been excellent, nothing has been too much trouble and they even cleaned the windows and plastic as part of the service. We had all of the front Windows replaced the guys were punctual professional and very knowledgeable we felt easy as soon as they started. When we go on to have the back of our house windows replaced we won't hesitate to go with. JC Windows again and will be recommending them to friends and family.

I found JC Windows in a local advertising booklet dropped through the letterbox. I contacted JC Windows via their website and received an acceptable quote within an hour or so. I agreed on the price and within a week or so John arrived for an on-site meet, talked through the job and agreed on the final project. As agreed, within 6 weeks the door and additional work were completed. The quality of work, door and additional work was first class. The two fitters were very polite, talked through the job with me and were extremely tidy both during and at the conclusion of the job.

I would highly recommend JC Windows for all your door and/or window needs. From start to finish they provided a competent and professional service. During the initial meeting with Mark he gave us several ideas for both our new front door and a internal one. On the day of the fitting of both products the fitters arrived on time and throughout the day updated me as to where they were up to. At the finish of the job they thoroughly cleaned up and removed all rubbish. The doors we have had fitted have an excellent finish and are exactly what we had ordered. The price was as agreed during our initial consultation. Overall, a professional and efficient service backed up with a great quality product that has improved and enhanced our property.

We wanted to replace a single glazed 'arched' window on the landing with a double glazed unit and asked JC Windows to provide a quote after seeing other reviews on this website. The initial visit was on time and we were really pleased with the information provided, so accepted the quote. The Covid pandemic caused a delay with the manufacture of the window but were kept fully informed. Martin and Mark came to fit the window and were excellent. The work was completed in less than two hours to the very highest standard. Everything was cleared and removed to the point where you wouldn't have known that any work had been done! Happy to recommend and we will certainly use this company again without hesitation.

The service from quote to completion was very professional. Very satisfied with the quality of the windows and the fitting work. The quotation was very competitive. They kept to the agreed schedule.

From initial contact through to installation of replacement French windows all persons we met were very thorough and professional. The initial person who came round to scope the work immediately identified the source of our problem , something that another company who specialised in sourcing leaks didn't. The installers were polite, turned up on time, did a great job and left the area clean and tidy. We would have no hesitation in recommending this company and when we've saved up enough pennies for replacing some other French windows we will be using them again. We were very impressed with the standard of workmanship in the removal and replacement of our balcony windows and door. The two workmen arrived on time and were very efficient. We have no hesitation in recommending this firm and would use them again if the need should arise.

JC windows completed replacing our windows and front and back door. They were extremely helpful and efficient throughout from the first visit onwards. Although there were a few delays these were unavoidable. The 2 men who visited twice to complete the installation, were courteous, highly skilled and very tidy. We are very pleased with the look and finish of both doors and windows, and have no hesitation in recommending JC windows most highly.

Just want to thank John and his team at JC Windows for the lovely job they did at our block of flats, we had two front doors with frames and two back doors fitted and they did an excellent job I would highly recommend them, I also had my own flat door and two windows as well, they did a great job and left everything clean.

Recently had a composite door fitted by JC windows and they were amazing from start to finish. They offered very reasonable and competitive rates and we chose them simply because of the great reviews we saw and they did not disappoint. Mike was amazing whilst providing the quote and dealing with my barrage of email questions and the fitters did an amazing job. Everyone I spoke to from the company was amazing from start to finish and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. We will definitely be using them in the future.

From Mark attending to arrange to provide a quotation for our requirements, through contact with John the owner, and the guys attending to fit our windows, we received a superb, professional and friendly service. The quality of the windows is great, we required some extra upvc panelling to cover a crumbling lintel, this was no problem and the finish is a delight. The work was done on the day specified, we were kept informed at every stage. The fitters were really friendly guys, at what with covid is a difficult time for all. They made no mess as such, cleaned up any dust and dirt caused by the old windows being removed. I can recommend JC Windows, and will certainly use them again for all my door and window requirements. From first contact to completion the staff of JC Windows are first class friendly and helpful trades people. Although due to an unexpected event the start was delayed by a couple of days, we were kept informed and updated, brilliant service. Old UPVC porch removed and replaced with a slightly larger one to the specifications we discussed. The fitters were great, polite and just got on with the job, cleaning up as they went. A slight problem developed with one of doors after a week, but a call to John was all it took and he came the next day to adjust the door. This is the type of customer service that makes them stand out from the crowd. I would highly recommend this company to any prospective clients.

Recently had JC Windows fit a new conservatory roof and double glazing throughout. John and his fitters Martin and Mark did an excellent job during 2 of the wettest and coldest weeks of the year. Everything from first contact with Mark the sales adviser through to fitting has been of the highest standard. Couldn’t recommend them enough.

We were quoted a very reasonable price, following a visit for inspection and advice. This stage was very informative and enabled us to discuss and design the windows to meet our needs. The fitting was completed efficiently and we are delighted with the final outcome. We have just had bi-fold doors fitted and are very happy with the results. The work carried out by the builders and fitters was clean and efficient. All work is done to a high standard by a friendly and professional workforce. Everything was completed on time to a very high quality. Good value for money. Will happily use JC Windows again.
