It is a while since I needed a locksmith - 18 months perhaps. The patio door would not lock; Phil came same day and sorted it. Previously he had changed the locks on the front (hardwood) door, and had given excellent advice on what we should have. For the keys he brings the van round (with the key cutter) and makes sure the keys work. He is a perfectionist.

I could easily have been convinced by someone the job was bigger than it was but Phil explained clearly what the problem was and was able to fix it cheaper than I first thought. Reliable and efficient. Also gave good advice on other key matters.

Our uPVC back door would not open. Phil came promptly to inspect and advised what was needed to repair it. Phil went the extra mile (literally!) to save us money, by obtaining spare parts for our lock, which is now obsolete, rather than us having to replace the whole mechanism. Highly recommended.

Our flat door lock was faulty, so it wasn't a very urgent job but Phil came same day anyway. He replaced the lock barrell and, after I had settled up with him, he also fixed a problem with the door handle and very kindly lubricated the front door to the flats which we had suspected was faulty but wasn't. He's very polite and helpful. We will definitely use him again in future.
