Really pleased with L W Gas. They done a boiler change for me recently. Lee Ward visited to complete a survey and a couple of weeks later, Lewis Ward visited to do the job. He brought an appentice with him and they were both very pleasent, friendy and very helpful. They just got on with the job. I left them too it and the job was completed without any problems at all. They explained everything and asked me if there were any questions etc. The whole job was carried out in a very proffesional way and they cleaned up, moved the rubbish and my kitchen was left very clean and tidy as though they had never been there. I would definately recommend L W Gas for any gas related work.

We received the annual automatic email reminder to say that our Boiler and Gas Fire Service was due and we were offered a precise diary date and time to suit our availability. Engineers, Ken and Mitchell, arrived on time. They were very friendly and respectful of our property using shoe coverings. They completed their work in an efficient and professional manner, paying particular attention to detail and left everything clean and tidy.

As usual, the LW Gas engineer turned up on schedule and carried out the service with the minimum of fuss. On arrival I pointed out the excessive noise coming from our airing cupboard, where the pump was fitted. On inspection, the engineer immediately turned the pump done by two levels and the problem was solved. We discussed the level the pump should operate at and he advised me to leave it at the lower setting and see how it performed, with a view to turning it up if the radiators failed to heat up properly. Good advice and there have been no problems with the radiators heating up so have left it at that level. This is the sort of thing LW Gas are very good at. The engineer explains things in layman's terms and they don't charge for it! We have been very satisfied with LW Gas since the original installation on 2021 and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for fairly-priced, professional job with a bit of good-hearted banter along the way. Looking forward to many more years' association with them.

Annual boiler and heating system maintenance had been politely rescheduled from November 2023 due to staff unavailability at short notice. Reliable timely attendance was supported by good communication reminders by the trader. During the service limescale build up and a small leak was identified on the hot water cylinder. The trader provided a report for me to seek warranty support.

Open flue Boiler replacement with Combi

Have used L W gas before for a boiler service and was very pleased with work so went back to them for another boiler service just before Christmas. Unfortunately boiler condemned but Lee attended next day to discuss options and quote for work which was planned at earliest opportunity and was reasonably priced. Following concerns about significant disruption from removing existing open flue boiler from house internal chimney and replacing underfloor pipe work to combi on outside wall, Lee proposed a solution which made fitting easier, achieved the aim and allayed my concerns. Due to other commitments L W gas already had, work couldn’t be started immediately and was planned 15th and 17th Jan. On both occasions team arrived prompt and were efficient and professional keeping me advised of any issues and suggesting solutions. Work was completed to a high standard 90% on first day and finished by 1230 pm on 17th with new system and controls being explained to me. Arrangements were also made for removed items and residue to be collected later that day which it was. A few days later a small weep was found on one radiator connection but this was rectified very quickly. Overall I found LW gas helpful, efficient and they kept me informed when they would be attending and how work was progressing. Very pleased and satisfied with whole process and would strongly recommend and use again.

Gas Boiler Service
Gas Boiler Service - always a 1st class service from start to finish. L W Gas always send a reminder email each year to arrange the annual boiler service. Their engineers are knowledgeable, tidy and respectful. Should an issue arise l have always found them quick to respond and communication links are always good.

Contacted supplier had a call back within a hour quote sent to me contacted supplier to say I was happy with price knew that I had no heating or hot water.Came back with a day and time,turned up 3 days later Carried out removing and fitting the new boiler all done by 3pm.Explained how boiler worked went round checking radiators talked me through new thermostat.left said that old boiler and rubbish would be removed by 5pm same day and it was even rang to make sure it had been collected

I have used LW Gas for many many years now both for gas boiler sevicing and gas certificates when I was renting out a property. They have replaced boilers in my rented property and my own property at a reasonable cost. The team were very efficient in the replacement and tidied up after. Lee and his team are always professional and very reliable. I would not hesitate to recommend this company.

I have used this company for several years since they installed a new gas boiler and they have also undertaken the yearly servicing. The engineers have always arrived on time and their work has been to a high standard. They have been polite, worked quickly, answered any questions I may have asked and they have always cleared up afterwards. In December last year in the very cold spell the boiler ceased working and there was a smell of burning. On the morning of the proposed visit the engineer phoned for more details, and anticipating the cause, came prepared. He replaced the fan but it had blown the fuse and the circuit board. Whilst he continued with his other scheduled visits, the company sought to source a new circuit board. During the day I received phone calls from the office advising me of progress and late afternoon the circuit board was delivered to our home. Shortly after, the engineer, having finished his other visits, travelled some considerable distance and came back here and fitted the board and heat was restored. He commented that he could not leave us for another night without any heat. His consideration for a couple of pensioners was much appreciated and a great reflection on the company. That is why I will continue to use this company.

We had the guys from LW Gas fit a new boiler and a couple of radiators just over a year ago, and in the middle of the heatwave of 2022 They were so polite and professional. They did a fantastic job, working through the heat in the smallest cupboard in the bathroom - I don’t even know how they did it, I would’ve melted!! Everything was finished to a great standard. They left the area tidy and clean and we were really pleased with their work. A year on, we’ve just had them back out for the boiler service and we were equally impressed with them. Punctual and polite. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them - very reliable and trustworthy

Have been using this company for many years, both for our own house, plus family members properties. They are always helpful and quick to respond. Also they give a half hour "window" of time when the engineer will call, which means you don't have to wait in for hours with just a morning or afternoon slot. Will always explain why a replacement part is required and will tell you the approximate cost of it at the same time. Quite honestly, I can't fault them.

LW Gas were wonderfully helpful, re-locating my new boiler to the loft so I now have an extra kitchen cupboard. And relocating new thermostats in airing cupboard so now easy to see. All rubbish removed & everything left very clean & tidy. They turned up on time, well early, & they finished the job in a day. They were courteous & very tidy workmen. All my interactions with LW Gas was a positive experience, office staff were helpful too. I would definitely use them again. I am one very happy customer.

Needed to have a gas boiler service on a property just purchased. LW Gas Ltd were friendly and informative from the very start. Got an appointment date and time convenient for me, as not currently living in the property. Matt arrived on time and carried out the required work thoroughly and with ease. He was friendly and knowledgeable and showed me how to set the heating easily. He noticed a small leak on the boiler and changed the washer at no extra cost. Will be using LW Gas Ltd for all my regular services and any problems in-between. Would highly recommend.

Heating breakdown

The boiler failed to fire first thing in the morning resulting in no heating or hot water. Called L&W around 8.30 who said that they we would review their work program for the day and called me back. After 15 mins Lee the boss called me back to obtain some more detail of the failure and the system and told me that they would have somebody with me by 11.00 am. The technician arrived on time and after some initial analysis identified the problem as a faulty solenoid valve which happily he carried as a spare in the van. The replacement valve was quickly installed and the system restarted.
