I am sorry you were not able to discuss the below with me when I returned to the property to replace the socket back box. I advise all of my customers to pay the balance in full only when they are 100% satisfied. When plastering a room, for the best result the architrave around the door frame needs to be removed, to ensure the walls are straight to the door. Unfortunately, when putting old architrave back (as requested by you) on new plastered walls, you may not get the best finish (uneven surfaces, etc.) as I had advised. The holes you refer to are from previous fixings when the house was built and not from us. 1 day prior to completion, you contacted me to replace missing architrave, the area had already been plastered therefore caused some disturbance which then needed re-filling. With the architrave being original to the property we were not able to source the exact match in such a short period of time therefore we fitted the closest match available. We spoke on several occasions throughout the day as you and your husband where at work, we were asked by yourselves to use our judgement/experience on any issues that may have arisen during the job which we did on a couple of occasions of which entailed extra works, which as a goodwill gesture I didn’t charge for. I visit all properties every other day, unless required daily or requested by the client, there was no request for this by yourselves.
