Marco from Plumbob was efficient courteous and undertook the repairs to taps and toilet we requested very capably and knowledgeably. He kept us informed of appointments and returned to complete the work in good time when difficulties with a tap cartridge delayed completion.

My boiler was very old and failing - I put off getting a replacement fearing the upheaval and work involved. As soon as I met the Plumbbob team it became clear that they cared about their work and their customers. New boiler fitted, and also sorted a problem with my immersion and my shower. No mess and all working excellently. So grateful. Very friendly team, explaining what is needed and giving choice and good prices. Would recommend. Peace of mind now for future plumbing needs.

Jon was very straightforward and clear in his assessment of our aged central heating system and how to refurbish it within our budget. He and his colleagues did a very professional job of replacing the boiler and other parts of the system that had failed. He was obviously a good problem solver, and very quick to come back and sort out a couple of teething problems. I highly recommend him.

My downstairs toilet wouldn’t flush anymore and started leaking. It needed to be replaced and Plumbbob did an excellent job, being friendly, on time, tidy and efficient and on budget. Nice new toilet and a dry floor! Highly recommended. Also very good at boiler servicing.

Our boiler chose the Easter Bank Holiday weekend to go on the blink. We had a houseful and no hot water or central heating. Not a good situation. I rang several plumbers: Jon and Lesley at Plumbbob were instantly practical and helpful. Within a couple of hours Jon came round and showed us clearly and without jargon or pressuring that a new boiler was needed. He got on the phone to suppliers and managed to find the single available boiler in stock that would serve. He also got our immersion heater working again, so we had some hot water to tide us over. Then he committed his Easter Monday to get the new boiler installed. On installation day he turned up on time, did the job on time, fixed a couple of other problems along the way, took care to explain what he was doing, got all the warranty paperwork signed and the new boiler registered, then tidied up impeccably. Our central heating and hot water were back up and running and our family Bank Holiday could resume. I have rarely had such excellent and professional service from a plumber. Very competitively priced too - I paid a fair price (rather than the it's an emergency rates one can be quoted) and consider the whole job excellent value for high quality. Highly recommended.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Plumbbob for gas boiler replacement. Immediate and helpful response to my initial enquiry. Jon and Lesley answered all my questions. Marco who fitted the boiler was punctual, polite, friendly, efficient, and tidy. Jon checked in at the end of the day, signed off the work, and set the timer etc for me. I'm not digital savvy, so Jon called in again at my request to help me with a couple of things I didn't understand. Which I now do. Outstanding ongoing communication and after-care, which is comforting to know. All was completed to the agreed schedule and budget. The boiler recommended is working perfectly, and is much more efficient than the one replaced. I'm very satisfied.

Lucy arrived exactly on time and carried out the service very efficiently. It was long overdue, and she explained some of the features that confirmed the diagnosis. I was shown where to check for the pressure reading and how to top up if necessary. I would certainly use PlumbBob again.

When we suddenly found ourselves without heating on one of the first cold nights of the year I was very concerned. I got some recommendations of good plumbers/heat engineers from my colleagues, and Plumbbob was the first one I called. No more than six hours after the first contact had they come out, identified the problem and fixed it. I could not have been any happier with the service.

Jon and his son performed the boiler service quickly and efficiently. They encountered a problem removing one of the old basin taps that was awkwardly located and "frozen" in place. A solution was quickly found by cutting the problem tap out, and the job completed to my entire satisfaction. Jon spotted a chronic problem while he was working on a neighbour's house, approached me to suggest an effective remedy and did the work the following morning, a Saturday, on time and efficiently. Good advice, good work.

Lesley reconfigured the gas pipe to our cooker hob so that our new oven could be fitted. It was quickly and neatly done, with minimum fuss and hassle, and with beautiful pipework.

Lesley was very helpful and efficient. She came to fix a leak in my outside tap and to fix my cold water mixer tap in the kitchen. She couldn't fix the outside tap because it would mean turning off the mains water for the whole mobile park. And I had to order a new mixer tap for the kitchen. So she did bleed all my radiators and fill my boiler, teaching me how to do it. The next day Lesley arrived with a young lad to help her. I'd asked her to cap the outside tap, which she did and also fitted the new mixer tap. All work was done extremely well and efficiently. I shall certainly use Plumbbob again.

My 17-year old gas boiler failed. Plumbbob discussed a suitable replacement with me, ordered it and fitted it within very few days. The fitting team were were highly co-operative, and a pleasure to have in the house

I supplied a new replacement tap which Jon replaced quickly, tidily and at short notice. Not quite an emergency job but I am grateful that it was done so promptly. Will certainly use again.

I couldn't have done better than go to Plumbbob. The service was exceptional, from initial contact - an appointment was offered immediately - through to the final invoice, which was itemised and very clear. A highly experienced plumber, Jon was able to diagnose the problem quickly and source the replacement parts from his stock. As well as having the necessary practical know-how, he was very patient in explaining the issue to a non-expert customer. I don't expect to have to replace my boiler for another five years or so, but I have decided I would like Plumbbob to install the next one already.

I have only praise for Jon and the Plumbbob team as my boiler broke down Christmas week. They went above and beyond to fix it . In the end a new boiler was needed and they were speedy at getting it all sorted. The team is professional friendly and know their stuff! Plus even my dog adored them!

I contacted Plumbbob after they were recommended by Worcester Bosch to fit my new boiler. The team arrived on time, and consisted of 4 persons and I was delighted to find 2 female engineers. The house was built in 1964 so has had many extensions over the years and the plumbing system needed a competent team to assess and understand. The team worked very quickly and were very tidy and kept us informed with everything that they were doing.
