About
Established in 2008, Propergeeks is based entirely on the Wirral but we cover all CH postcodes. We offer a mobile service covering Wirral and Ellesmere Port and a shop-based service from our Leasowe Road store in Wallasey Village. We also offer a 'Remote Support Desk' facility which, in many cases, can resolve common software issues without the need for us to have any physical contact with customers or their devices, (internet service required).
We have over 30 years experience in repairing computers and laptops and we only employ skilled staff who are trained and competent to handle any computer problem, skillfully and quickly. We offer free advice if you need it, a free collection and delivery service if you need that and we never charge a call-out fee. Our reputation is your guarantee that you'll be happy with what we do, happy with the price we charge and happy to recommend us to your friends and family.

We'd have had dealings with ProperGeeks before so had no hesitation in going back when my laptop refused to do anything. Half expected to be told it was only fit for the bin. But no, the old hard drive was replaced, better security was installed and everything tidied up. The laptop was returned to us at the agreed time and the work done at the agreed price. Chris connected it to the WIFI and gave us helpful suggestions on computer use. A wonderful service and local. I don't think we would get better anywhere else.

Proper Geeks provided a refurbished laptop for another family member recently, we were very impressed with the work so when my laptop started running very slowly we returned. The laptop was assessed, hard drive replaced with SSD, everything necessary was reinstalled. The work was done on time and within the stated budget. Great service. Face to face is an added bonus. They also provided great help to another family member with low technical ability at the same time, providing her with a new replacement and making sure she knew how to use it.

I took my laptop to Propergeeks for repair. Unfortunately, it was not repairable (it was very old) but they were able to save all my data and transferred it from my MAC to my new PC. A few weeks later, I was having problems getting my printer to link up, I sent them an email asking if they knew what the problem could be and they rang me up that day and managed to fix it remotely for no charge. The service given was excellent and I could not recommend them highly enough. Many thanks

I purchased a new computer printer and could not install it. My Macbook pro was taken in within a day and repaired within the week as stated. Several phone calls made by Ross to check that I was happy and informed with procedures. Chris delivered the Lap top on time and spent time explaining new procedures and some problems I had with printing. He was so clear and not at all rushed in his explanations. I have used this firm on several occasions and have always been 100% satisfied. Recently I had a problem with accessing video files in Microsoft media player, possibly caused by a recent update. This was sorted in no time - completely professional service by knowledgeable staff who are always helpful, courteous and friendly. This was my first use of Propergeeks I was very impressed by the friendly efficient service. My Hard disk had been corrupted and had to be replaced. They were very helpful and I felt that the price was fair. It will definitely be my first choice for any service I may require in the future.

Omen laptop check after impact
Our Omen laptop needed checking over after it sustained impact accidentally. The team at the shop were excellent and particular thanks to Corey whom we dealt with. The laptop had diagnostics completed, physical inspection for hinge damage and also opened up to ensure that no damage was sustained to the fans etc. You cannot be too sure with gaming laptops and we wished peace of mind. We were lucky enough to get a clean bill of health and it was turned around in good time and with no charge thanks to their excellent policy. Many thanks.
