I don't typically write reviews, although I do tend to use them, therefore having found a gem like Roy, I wanted to share my experience. Roy is very efficient, responds quickly and turns up when he says he will. He gives through thought to the job and comes up with his own ideas for your consideration alongside your own. Roy is meticulous and has a real pride in his work. I would have no hesitation in recommending and will use Roy again, should the need arise.

Roy did a brilliant job replacing the double doors in the lounge. Unlike many tradespeople, he came the day he said he would, and on time. He always answered emails promptly too. Highly recommend.

Roy has carried out various projects for us, initially as chargehand for a firm of builders making an extension for us, and in the last couple of years on two smaller projects: each threw up different challenges, all of which he addressed competently. Roy works with good humour, accuracy and diligence. His main skill is as a carpenter/builder, but he can bring other skills into play if needed to keep the work going. He's also perfectly capable of organising supplies & coordinating the other tradesmen needed for a job. I will always turn to Roy for any other similar building projects that we need to tackle. So, highly recommended!

Roy has done a lot of work for me over the last few years. Mostly bespoke work and all completed to a very high standard. Roy is a perfectionist and it shows in his finished work. He is punctual, clean and completely trustworthy. His charges are extremly good especially considering the high standard of work. Would not hesitate to recommend him. And as he said, no job is too small or too big.

RAH Joinery (Roy Hogg) has just completed the installation of our kitchen. We're extremely happy with the quality of the workmanship, and his very friendly service. The work was completed without any slippage from the agreed timetable, and the cost was very reasonable. The end result of the project has significantly exceeded our expectations. Roy Hogg has carried out a great deal of work for us over the past three months. He has relaid and restored a parquet floor, installed a door and made a range of cupboards and storage solutions. Designs and plans are followed with a great deal of thought and care. He is very interested in challenges, and working in difficult spaces. Other trades respect his work, and he does his best to work around their areas if all trades are in a space together. Roy is very tidy. He is conscientious, using materials with respect, and disposing of them with attention to the environment. He takes a great deal of pride in the finished article / job, and the final results are extremely well finished and do the job as intended. Roy is entirely trustworthy.
