RJ Insulation specialise in ECO friendly, natural and sustainable loft insulation.
Pre 1920 homes.
One of our assessors holds a Level 3 award in giving advice on energy efficiency measures to listed and traditional buildings.
He recommends using the Sheepswool. Sheepswool is hygroscopic, therefore is specified for listed and traditional buildings.
1920 -1960s homes.
For 1920 - 1960s homes we use SuperFOIL Insulation. SuperFOIL is designed to keep you cool in the summer and warm in the winter. SuperFOIL states that it can increase the value of your home.
Post 1970.
For 1970s or later we offer the SupaSoft Insulation. Supasoft is made entirely out of single use recycled plastic bottles. on average it takes 10,000 - 15,000 Single use recylced plastic bottles out of landfill and into your loft. It never degrades and is approximately 11% more thermally efficient than the typical Fibreglass.
We give out a lifetime guarantee for SuperFOIL, Sheepswool and Supasoft

If you are looking to get your loft done, stop searching right now. Seriously. The Loft Guys are absolute legends. From day one and that's all it took, these guys were a machine. They didn’t just build a loft; they completely transformed how we live in our home. The craftsmanship is flawless, the attention to detail is next-level, and they smashed the timeline we agreed on. I contacted R.J. Insulation to help me with insulation for my loft.Alfie was very helpful giving advise and explaining the procedure.we had s site visit before the insulation which was very helpful.On day of insulation three young men arrived on time.They were polite and friendly,took care of our property and worked for 6 hours and I was very satisfied with their work.I would certainly recommend R.J.Insulation.

Very efficient process from start to finish. No hard sell and we were given sufficient time and information to review available options. The installation team were on time. Cleared out the loft before installing new insulation and provided good clear communication throughout. Offering practical advice to make further improvements around lighting etc. They may not be the cheapest option out there but would 100% recommend as the whole process has been hassle free and we’re very happy with the overall service.

We have recruited RJ Insulation to help us to lay down new insulation material for our loft. Before the insulation, we have friendly and detailed conversation with Alfie, understanding the whole procedure and the benefits of using RJ Insulation. A site visit was also arranged before the actual day of insulation. A team of three led by Max arrived on time on the actual day. They were very friendly and worked continuously for around 8 hrs without even popping out for lunch, and executed their work professionally. Complete satisfaction while I can enjoy a lifetime warranty with our sheep wool insulation.

Max and Linas were prompt and efficient. They removed all the old insulation and took it away, hoovered up the loft and fitted ventilation and new loft insulation of thickness 270mm. They also fitted mesh round the eaves to discourage vermin. They cleaned up well where they had carried things through the house. My only slight query was the way the original estimate of the cost was made. This was just done over the phone before any measurements were taken, which seemed unsatisfactory as I couldn't see how it could be accurate. They did in the end send an assessor and brought down the cost of their original estimate. They were prompt in responding to queries and the customer service was very good. We are awaiting paperwork concernimg the five year insurance backed guarantee.

The lads were fantastic. Clean job and very efficient. Hardworking, friendly guys. Job was done in 4.5 hours. Loft looks superb. We did clear loft for them which did make it easier. They put all the heavy stuff back for us which made our sorting afterwards a lot quicker than anticipated. Looking forward to a warmer home.

I must say that the company was very professional from start to finish. They did not use any high pressure sales techniques or anything like that. I was left to think it over before I made my decision to go ahead with the order. The fitting team lead by Max were also very professional in how they went about the job. They did all what they said they would do and keep me informed on how the job was going. When they were finally finished any mess that was made was all cleaned up and everything was taken away.
