We carefully researched the possibilities of having an extension to replace our ageing conservatory by inviting several companies to discuss the matter. Ben, the owner of Richard Thomas was one the people who engaged in discussion. He was immediately the most impressive. It was like discussing our dreams with a knowledgeable friend. He listened and made suggestions as to the best way of achieving our vision but at no time was he ‘pushy’…it was our ideas that he wanted to implement. He explained the process thoroughly and produced a plan of who would come, on what days, at what times. A short while later the surveyor came to review the situation and measure up. The measurements were sent to the manufacturer who produced each component already cut to size, labelled and ready for the construction. The team had the same hallmark as Ben… warm, friendly and immensely proud of their work. On the first day our conservatory was demolished, removed from our garden By the end of the week we had our new extension built, secure and weather proof. We went on holiday, Ben had planned around our arrangements, and then the team returned and did the electrics and plastering. Everything to a high standard, everything on time, everything made so easy for us. We have a tiny garden and ours is a difficult site but on each day all was left clean and tidy. We are absolutely delighted with not only the end result but with the entire process.

Richard looked after us superbly, before, during and after we contracted them to redo our conservatory roof. Rob, Warren and the team listened carefully and took pains to ensure all was done on time and to specifications. The site team worked dilligently and efficiently, tidily and respectfully. We decided to replace our conservatory roof with a warm, insulated one. After obtaining three quotations and proposals, we considered the best option was Richard Thomas. The completed project confirmed that this decision was correct. The project was managed effectively, starting and completing as planned with no delays, with all of the trades following on after each other.
