From the first contact with the company to the completion of the work everything went very smoothly. The quotation for the work was very competitive compared with other companies contacted. Very pleased with the finished project and the standard of workmanship of the fitters who left the conservatory very clean and tidy on completion.

After having a conservatory built by Richard Thomas, we were so pleased with the result, we returned to them to fit our new front door and windows. A very reliable company with a great team, I would highly recommend them to anyone.

After a bad experience with a different company, I was anxious about finding someone else to do my conservatory. I’m so glad I chose Richard Thomas. This company is outstanding. We were referred to them by an ex-employee, which is a good sign in itself. The orangery itself is excellent but we could have sourced the same one elsewhere. The difference is their people - their staff and sub-contractors were all brilliant - experts in their individual trades. We had no idea, for example, that there are people who just install lead flashings into brickwork for a living or who lay screed flooring. The whole project took 8 weeks including the XMAS break and they were only 2 days late, due to bad weather. My wife and I would recommend them 100%.

Ben and the team were a pleasure to deal with. Ben's initial meeting gave me confidence that the company would do a great job and I have not been disappointed. They demolished our old conservatory and have replaced it with a lovely new one. I would highly recommend this company.

From the moment Ben(the owner of the company)came to see us we were impressed,he is very patient and VERY knowledgeable in what he does.He talked us through the whole process, answered all our questions and there were no hidden fees. When the guys started the work on the agreed day, they were brilliant. They cleaned up their mess every night and nothing was left at the end of the job. now that the job is finished it’s amazing. We had a glass roof on our conservatory and we have now have a new composite roof which regulates the heat inside the house amazingly well ,I would have no hesitation in recommending this company to absolutely anyone first class and brilliant.

We are very impressed with Richard Thomas and would highly recommend their services. We love our new open plan space following a single-storey extension with the ultra roof and removal of an interior wall. We were impressed with how tidy the site remained throughout the building work, staff and contractors were very polite and punctual. Ben our Project Manager kept us informed of time scales and was quick to respond to any queries. The timescale was adhered to and we were impressed with the care and attention to keeping the property safe and secure at all times. The contractors were working daily and the project pushed on without any gaps in the schedule.

Richard Thomas were brilliant from start to finish, Ben visited us personally at the initial enquiry stage and was able to take measurements, design and price us there and then. Following confirmation of us proceeding with the works, everyone we have dealt with since has been professional, reliable and quick to respond to our emails. Dates and times were well communicated and at no point were we left in the dark about anything. Kevin the project manager was a pleasure to deal with and we are very happy with the work that has been done. I would definitely recommend Richard Thomas to anyone.

Highly recommend, really impressed with the whole team from the owner Ben coming to do the pricing and design personally which was transparent and upfront to the project manager keep us up to date with timelines and professional workmanship of the builders and other tradesmen, we even had them do some work on the rest of the ground floor with no problem. Amazing design, build and installation. Richard Thomas helped us through everything from the plans, the planning permission process and project managing all the trades to a successful completion. We are really happy with the result, and several friends have commented on how good the quality is.

We have used Richard Thomas to complete two jobs for us - firstly a replacement conservatory and secondly a new double front door. Both jobs were completed in a timely manner and completely to our satisfaction. We love the conservatory which is now "orangery" style with lots of light and is a real addition to the house, replacing its cold and draughty predecessor. I think that part of the success of this company is the time and trouble taken to ensure that the customer has time to properly consider what they want - we certainly changed our minds through discussion and felt under no pressure to decide quickly. The installers in both cases were very professional, turned up on time, were pleasant while on-site and cleared up immaculately. We would have no hesitation in recommending this company.

This Orangery has transformed our house. It has increased the all-year-round living area drastically, whilst providing lots of light to the rest of the house. The whole project ran to schedule as planned in a very short time. So from digging foundations through to completion, minimised the disruption to us. The fixed price quote was very reasonable and we have been given a high-quality extension for this. Using a local trader for building this Ultraframe Orangery has been a good choice. All workforce were hard-working, polite, accommodating and very tidy. I highly recommend Richard Thomas and they would definitely be my first choice to use them again.

We had quotes from other local companies but this company impressed us the most. Andy Witherick the Design and Sales Consultant, and the team of fitters who installed the window and new front door were excellent and the installation was carried out to a very high standard of workmanship. Communication was excellent, and their office was a joy to deal as they are so efficient. We are so impressed that we are considering having a verandah replaced and Ben Slater came today to quote for the job. Having had this company do such a good job we have no reservations in recommending them.

We initially chose to work with this Company by firstly visiting their excellent website and then secondly, after the first visit to our home by Ben Slater. Ben was spot on when he designed our Orangery, understanding our requirements and even those that we didn’t know we wanted or needed. Ben made us feel very comfortable and his professionalism was second to none, we felt secure with our decision to use Richard Thomas Conservatories. We were given a schedule of works and met the excellent Kevin Clark, our project manager. The project ran so very smoothly even though it was earlier this year when we had such cold conditions. At each new stage, a team of workmen arrived, always on time. they were all very polite, personable and specialists in whatever they were doing building our Orangery. At the end of each stage, which always flowed seamlessly, the site was left ready for the new team coming in. Each of the workmen worked with respect and kept the site clean. It is now June 2021 and am so very happy with how we use our new room, we absolutely love it! We use it as often as possible, it really is a well used extension to our home. Asking Richard Thomas Conservatories to design and build it has been a very happy experience right from the start with Ben and to the very finish.

Neil, our installer during the week, was fantastic. My wife and I were so impressed with the quality of the windows and doors and the workmanship from Neil. We couldn’t have asked for the windows to look any better than they are, both internally and externally. Neil has made the windows look so good inside and, knowing how tight the plaster was against all the frames, he has finished them off so neatly. Yet again, Richard Thomas has improved the look of our house and we couldn’t be more pleased.
