Smarter Homes4U has renewed my faith in the building profession, I had a very bad experience in the past, which led to court action. I was very hesitant to have the work completed and lived with it for over 3 years. As it was a case of correcting someone else's mistakes not many companies wanted to take it on, but due to a medical condition, I needed to have it completed before some hospital treatment. I was in a bind and Tony was very understanding and empathetic to my situation. He and his team were just the antidotes I needed, I had my shelving fitted, door frames fixed, some minor electrical work done and replacement cupboard doors done. All this allowed me to put in the finishing touches and my home is now completed. I was able to have my treatment and rest, but more than that I finally feel like my home is my own now. The work was carried out with care and attention to a very high standard, it was a very fair price and this was stuck to, soon surprises. The guys were great and professional and respectful at all times, everything was cleaned and tidied and they even worked the whole weekend to fit it in for me. I wholeheartedly recommend SmarterHomes4U to anyone and will gladly use them again in the future.

This is the second time we have used Smarter Home 4u for our home improvements. This time they fitted our new kitchen (including all plastering and electrics) and fitted a new downstairs toilet as well as new skirting boards throughout. Tony and his whole team are professional, friendly and helpful. We were kept informed of any delays or changes to arrival times etc. and the whole job was completed to a high standard. This was not an easy kitchen to fit due to the awkward position of our boiler and they came up with an elegant solution which is much better than what the kitchen designer at Howdens came up with! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Smarter Home 4u for all aspects of home improvements.

I wholeheartedly recommend Smarter Homes 4 u to anyone. Finding professionals you can trust is difficult but fortunately, we have found a firm who are completely trustworthy, do a thorough professional job tailored to the customer’s requirements and have polite and courteous staff. Tony oversees all the jobs and goes the extra mile to ensure the job gets done properly. We have had a huge garden shed taken down and a new one put up, an old canopy taken down and a new one installed and an alarm installed. We’ve also had doors hung. Each time Tony’s men have done a fantastic job and I don’t expect I’ll be using anyone else. They are understanding of personal circumstances and are compliant with Pandemic rules and guidelines which is very reassuring as my wife is a vulnerable person. They are superb at problem solving which reduces the stress for us customers. When our old shed was removed it revealed two massive holes beneath it and that the shed had been balanced on a small pile of bricks. Tony did not want to put the new shed down in the same way because it would be dangerous and would not be the best job. He then kindly arranged for some concrete to be delivered, did the tamping and got the shed sorted as soon as the concrete was dry. Took a lot of stress out of it for us and got the job done properly which is what we want. In conclusion, Smarter Homes are professional, skilled, courteous and do a full and thorough job.

Smarter Home 4U removed an old fireplace, created a storage area and alcove cupboard and shelving in our lounge. Tony listened to what we wanted and delivered a really high quality job. The whole team were friendly and very tidy. Very pleased with the job and wouldn't hesitate to use them again for any home improvement jobs.

Tony and the Smarter Homes 4U crew were great. They undertook quite a large project with a kitchen dinner knock through, creating a new downstairs WC, merging a separate toilet and bathroom upstairs, fitting new kitchen and bathroom. I would thoroughly recommend them. Despite some initial confusion over start dates, once work began Tony and the team worked very hard to get my project competed within the timeframe discussed. All of the team were friendly and polite, as well as tidy and considerate to the fact I was living here the whole time work was being done! Tony was always very transparent and honest with me in discussions about the work and progress updates and I felt included and in control. All work was completed within the quotes initially discussed and to a very high standard. Tony and the team were reliable, professional, considerate and also accommodating to my random design whims! Tony and his team were brilliant from start to finish. Tony was very helpful and full of advice right from the beginning, when I was still in the planning phase and was only getting ideas of cost. They started the work on time, supported me through some setbacks (my flat's fault, not theirs), were clean, tidy and very easy to be around. Chris's work was fantastic and he was very easy to consult and bounce ideas off. I am over the moon with the result, which came in on budget. Will definitely use the team again for any future work. Excellent from start to finish. Contacted Tony on a recommendation and he responded quickly to look at the job, was helpful and professional throughout and I had a quote emailed soon after. He was extremely helpful in tailoring the quote and scope of works to our needs and fit within budget. Work was arranged and Chris arrived on site early to set up and get started. Job was carried out to an excellent standard and Chris was friendly and extremely clean and tidy! I will definitely use again on future projects and would thoroughly recommend!

I was recommended to Tony through my Neighbourhood app and I couldn't be happier. He was friendly on the phone, quoted me via email the next day, and had someone available to start the works (flooring a bedroom) within a few days. Chris, who came to do the works, was on time (early), worked extremely hard, was friendly, communicative, and got the job done quickly, and to a very high standard, without any shortcuts. When I had made an error in ordering too few floorboards, it was no problem and Chris came back the following weekend to complete the works. They were both friendly, understanding and accommodating throughout. I would highly recommend Tony, Chris and the Smarter Home 4U team for any job within their remit, as you just know it's going to be done right, first time, with a smile.
