Excellent service throughout survey, fitting and after care of solar panels. I used Which Trusted Traders to find a firm to fit the panels. Solar Gateway is local to my region and have been delighted with the whole process. The costs were competitive (also based on the report in Which), I received all the necessary information in good time, and importantly Solar Gateway have been very responsive to my queries. I have already recommended Solar Gateway to several of my friends.

Mark and the team arrived promptly today and installed additional batteries to the system they installed last year. The service was exceptional and a real personal service. Nothing is too much trouble for theses guys. A pleasure to deal with.

Mark arrived and we discussed my requirements, he listened carefully and then offered alternatives, which made absolute sense, so we agreed on that system. At every stage we were kept informed, the scaffolding arrived Tuesday 3/5/23 and Mark and his Team arrived on Wednesday morning as agreed to complete the Install. Jamie the electrician was superb and offered alternative wiring routes, which were brilliant. Scott fitting the Panels did a excellent job, all were fitted and then the whole system, including the Iboost was powered. My 16 panels / Hybrid invertor / 6.4kw Battery storage / Iboost were installed and working, at around 3.30pm on Wed it was producing over 5KW and charging the batteries. The App was installed and I can now monitor the PV system. All this work was done professionally, with care and attention to detail and they cleaned away any rubbish etc. A superb service from Mark and his Team, my wife and I have no hesitation in recommending this Company.

An excellent business to deal with. A real personal touch and easy communications throughout. Mark from solar gateway came to give me a quote. Explained the solar panels, the batteries and how we could heat our hot water through an iboost system. Then showed us an app you get on your phone to monitor the electricity you are using, your battery levels and what you feed back into the grid to get reimbursed. All great products. I had several quotes in the Northumberland area and this was cheapest by a considerable amount. Installation was arranged for a day in December which on the day had to be rearranged due to high winds. The new date was arranged for the following week. Installation was quick and smooth everything installed in one day. Wires which need to be taken from the loft to the fuse box were hidden by the electrician behind walls and wardrobes. A very neat and clean job. The system has now been running for three months and we are very pleased with it. We have a south west facing roof and are pleased with what we produce. Yesterday in April we produced 32kwh. After what my family used during the day (4 people at home all day) we spent 3p and will be reimbursed £2.13. All in all very pleased with solar gateway and the products installed. Will and have recommended family and friends.

Mark and the team added panels to my current system as-well as upgrading the inverter and added a new battery to the system. Overall a great outcome. Quote was on the button, with swift execution. I would recommend Solar Gateway to others, and have no doubt they will deliver on every job. They are also just a phone call away if needed. Overall a great job, great experience, and would have no doubt to engage again and recommend.

From the beginning, the quote, which was better than we expected was excellent. The installation to the completion the work was first class.. I have passed on recommendations to friends and others who were looking for quotes from solar panel suppliers who have also gone with Solar gateway and have stated they are more than happy with their installations too.. The installation of Solar PV and battery backup is not something entered into lightly. It was important to select a reliable, trustworthy local Company able to provide an Insurance backed service and being a Which recommended Trusted trader provided further reassurance. Solar Gateway installed a 15 panel 5.77kw PV system with battery storage which has worked incredibly well. From the outset, Mark was professional in his approach, turned up when promised and delivered within agreed timescales and at the agreed cost. We had intended to purchase additional battery storage, Mark however advised us to monitor usage/capacity over the first year rather than spend additional monies unnecessarily which we thought was very honest of him. My follow up questions have been answered expeditiously and with a personalised approach. We have now made a number of referrals to this Company and had no hesitation in doing so.

Solar Gateway was recommended by a friend. A survey and discussion of the Solar power system and siting the roof panels , inverter and batteries was done initially and a second visit was made at our request as we had issues with the likely route of the wiring (we have an extension so the loft is not uniform across the length of the house). We were then provided with the calculations of anticipated output of solar energy based on our roof’s orientation to the sun , and based on our previous electricity consumption, how long it would take to recoup our investment in the system. This was all before we committed to the work or paid a deposit. On the day the electrician and roofer worked efficiently to complete the main fit on the day. It was a difficult fit due to the pitch of our roof and the type of tiles. Also the panels were fitted to our detached garage and house roofs making it a more complex fit. All issues were dealt with effectively. The system was up and running by the end of the day. Everything was done to the originally agreed price which was very competitive. The work has been done to a very high standard. We were advised on how to make the most of generated power and battery use. The Project Manager, Mark rang the next day, as he had been monitoring the system’s function, to ensure we were happy with everything. We highly recommend this company.

A very helpful company Solar Gateway came highly recommended and they did not disappoint. Mark carried out a survey at my house and recommended a system with batteries. I had little knowledge of how solar works and everything was explained to me clearly giving me the confidence to proceed. The installation was carried out quickly and efficiently. They were very tidy and removed all rubbish. I have an app on my phone which shows the system working. It shows me how much electricity the panels are producing and when the batteries are charged. When energy is being exported to the grid, I know then to use my larger electrical items like the washing machine.
