The Splash of Colour team are absolutely excellent. They completed various rooms in our house, all with great patience and attention to detail. From the first consultation, we were very impressed with their knowledge and expertise and we loved that we could discuss ideas with them and they could incorporate this into the design of the rooms. They are an authentic company, you can see there is a lot of passion behind this company. We could not recommend Splash of Colour more, and we are looking forward to them completing the next phase of work in our home.

Friendly, courteous, professional and highly knowledgable, from the minute I was introduced to the Splash of Colour team I knew to expect the very best. One thing that stood out was a genuine interest in the project and their obvious keenness to get it right - this was not simply 'another job'. For Splash of Colour, preparation is everything, and so walls and woodwork were assessed, treated and/or sanded as required to provide the best base for the finished work. Communication was ongoing and I was kept up to date with progress throughout. Even though I witnessed their incredible attention to detail from the outset, I could still not believe the standard of the finished piece of work - utterly outstanding. If considering decorating again, I would not hesitate to use Splash of Colour. They have set the bar extremely high and there is simply no comparison.

Splash of Colour are an excellent decorating company. They brought a high level of skill, great problem-solving skills, excellent communication and a good deal of flexibility to a long and complex job decorating my flat (transforming a very tired space into a welcoming home). They provided useful advice on colour choices and paints at the start of the project. With the flat not having had any updating since the 1980s, some requirements only became apparent as work progressed. Splash of Colour kept me fully informed and checked with me where any additional work would be needed, and were able to give me various options. They were able to recommend other trades, which proved a godsend, as I’d recently moved to Glasgow and needed advice on these. I was away for long periods during the project, and Splash of Colour communicated regularly, sending me photos as work progressed. There were a few small hiccups along the way, and Splash of Colour resolved this quickly and effectively. I really can’t recommend them enough and will certainly be using their services again.

Shaun did a first class job decorating our house. All communication with Splash of Colour was prompt and efficient, they invariably do exactly what they say they will do and on time. Having previously used and appreciated the services of Splash of Colour, I was keen to have them do this job. The quotation was prompt and work started soon after acceptance. There was long-standing water damage which was painstakingly repaired. The work was carried out with minimal fuss and the site was left tidy. I was very satisfied with the work which I considered value for money. The work was completed at the agreed price. Shaun is trustworthy, a careful and considerate trader and is very polite and cheerful.

We really don't call anyone else now - we're one room away from having Splash of Colour decorate our whole house. Their work is simply second to none - it's all in the preparation, and the guys put so much into that to give a perfect finish. They take on transforming the whole room, not just the painting/papering bits - sanding and varnishing floors, doors, and restoring cornicing. No hesitation in recommending.

I have no hesitation in recommending Shaun and Splash of Colour. They were very professional right from the beginning with detailed and accurate estimates and then invoicing. All of the work was carried out to a very high standard and we are very pleased.

Splash of Colour did a fantastic job (as usual) preparing and painting our Victorian storm doors, panelled vestibule, internal door and exterior window frames. They also refinished all the tarnished antique brass handles and letter box etc which meant we could keep the character of the doors rather than replacing with modern equivalents. Our main door entrance now looks stunning and it is the envy of our street. The storm door frame was badly peeling due to the property being south facing and the previous paint job not being well prepared. They did an excellent job of removing the paint and filling in the frame before painting so it looks like new. I cannot recommend Splash of Colour and the father and son Shauns highly enough.
