We are a small family Multi award winning Painting Decorating company , with years of experience in the painting and decorating industry, we are Period property specialists.

My girlfriend and I asked Shaun to paint the exterior of our house. The job was done to a very high standard and on the agreed budget and the house now looks wonderful. Timekeeping could have been a little bit better, as at least once or twice Splash of Colour team ended up showing up slightly later than they previously announced. That being said we'd be more than happy to hire them again! We also needed our hall painted and even though we'll be doing it ourselves we still got a couple of handy tips from Shaun's dad.

After a terrible experience with our builder’s plasterer and decorator in our new kitchen/diner, I contacted Shaun at Splash of Colour as I have used them in the past due to their excellent standard of workmanship and I 100% value their opinion. Shaun came to see us that day and immediately put our minds at rest. Since that day Shaun has project managed and carried out the complete re-plastering and decorating of the room. Splash of Colour could easily have taken one look at what we were left with by our builder and run a mile, but they didn’t, and I am hugely grateful to them for the work they have put in to help us get our dream kitchen/diner. They have worked tirelessly to ensure the standard of finish is outstanding. Shaun aims for perfection and doesn’t stop until he achieves it, a trait that is becoming increasingly rare these days. Splash of Colour are a real credit to the Which Trusted Trader scheme and they are very passionate about their involvement with Which. Splash Of Colour have literally saved the day for us with regard to our kitchen/diner extension and I cannot thank them enough. They are masters at what they do and as a result of their Which? Trusted Trader status, and the confidence that brings, I will look for the logo when sourcing other trades for future work.

Work done to the highest satisfaction, paint and beautiful wallpaper, excellent customer service before, during and after work, the workers were very nice and caring the whole time. Offered advises for how to look after the work to last longer, everyone in the house are so excited about how neat and tidy, continuous communication about what they going to do next, and they observe social distancing and wore masks the whole time because i have vulnerable individuals at home. All for free, for my child

Shaun and his colleagues decorated the bedroom of a young girl with a disability for our charity. I cannot thank them enough for everything they have done for her - they truly went over and above the call of duty! Shaun is very friendly, kind and personable, and communicated well throughout the process, which really was invaluable during the lock down. He was attentive and flexible - when the brief changed, that wasn't a problem at all. Shaun was so knowledgeable, thoughtful and professional in everything he did and went out of his way to make the room special. He's also creative - given a brief of the young girl's likes, he found the perfect wallpaper, paint and extras and the family were thrilled with the result. The finished product looks terrific!

We had our landing, stairs and bedrooms painted by Shaun and the guys, the job is super professional as expected, with great attention to detail and pride in their work. The guys are all really friendly and personable from the word go until the last, we’ve been left with beautiful walls at, what I think is an extremely reasonable price for the quality you receive. 10/10 would recommend.

They had a good understanding of decorating an old style property and also have the skills for additional work such as plastering. The job was done in an extremely timely manner and looks great. From the intial quote consultation we felt Shaun was passionate of his work from the detail explained and the great variety of options, just the correct scope we needed and depth. From our start date the work was planned and structured for us living in our home. We had our whole flat painted including the wood work treated, sanded and painted. Walls treated and painted. As works started we encountered wood defects which did not phase the team at all... this did add additional time due to the treatment and sand work required for the finishings. Throughout the 3 weeks Shaun's team were tidy and hours of work were consistent and suitable for us. Discussion of our colour choices was helpful with Shaun's insight and knowledge of palettes. In addition, any works or obstacles we faced outwith the quoting the company could not help us anymore and apply themselves fully to all that we needed. We gratefully appreciated each detail. Overall, final finish and lines we could not be any happier. Great team and extremely happy with Shaun and his company's professionalism. Will be recommending on first instance. Shaun and his team painted our entire flat earlier this year and when we needed some work done in the close, we had no hesitation in giving them a call. The attention to detail, the care in preparation and the stunning finish were every bit as good in the less prestigious areas as they were in the flat itself. These guys take great pride in the work they do and it really shows.

This is the third time we've used SplashofColour - this time for the outside of our house - windows, mullions between windows, storm doors, vestibule area. Shaun did an excellent job, including burning back old layers of paint on our storm doors, using paint with sand in it to match our sandstone on the mullions. Very high quality finish of work, super nice guys - would definitely recommend!
