Tony has done several pieces of work for us over the last couple of years, and we have been pleased with the result every time. On this occasion, he installed some outdoor security lights for us. Tony Coombe of YNOTRENOVATE changed the position of sockets in our bedroom and supplied the new light switch and sockets. The work was completed ahead of schedule for the agreed price and Tony removed all the rubble from the wall keeping the carpets mess free so only a quick vacuum was required. Tony completed all the tests required both before starting and after completing the work. We have every confidence in Tony's work and would definitely ask him to quote on any further work.

I would not hesitate to recommend Tony for any electrical work. Our house started life as a 2 bedroom bungalow and has been extended over the years to be a 7 bedroom house. Tony of Ynot Renovate has done 3 electrical jobs in our house. We had a damaged cable that tripped the light circuit. The fault had to be identified and remedied. He fitted an outside socket and also identified a source of our fuse board tripping. He is honest, reliable and hard-working. I have recommended him to friends. I would not hesitate to use him again

Tony did a number of jobs to replace some existing sockets and install an additional double gang socket, as well as replace some ceiling lights and fix a faulty two-way light switching circuit. Did a great job, with real care, to ensure minimal damage to walls when chasing new cabling. Excellent communication throughout the work. Very satisfied.

Tony installed a new fuse box after checking our existing circuits. Once this was installed and tested he fitted new sockets on an additional new downstairs circuit. Always polite with high quality work and the job was finished properly without cutting any corners. Tidied up afterwards and wiped all surfaces. Would highly recommend.

We had quite an emergency this winter when the mains circuit for the whole of our basement and ground floor blew and wouldn't fix. This included the boiler which meant our house was freezing and we have two very young children. We contacted Tony after seeing he was well-reviewed on Which? and he came and did a lot of investigating. Although he didn't have a part for the fuse board immediately, he put a plug onto the boiler so we could at least have heating supplied from upstairs (the boiler was previously hard-wired in). He then ordered the part and came a few days later to fix the problem on the fuse box. He was very friendly, efficient and incredibly reasonably priced. We are very happy with the work and would definitely recommend

I contacted Tony to replace my ceiling spotlights in a plasterboard ceiling, as well as connect existing under-cabinet lights to the main switch and install LED lighting in the kitchen. Tony was quick to respond, bang on time on all days he came and very helpful throughout the whole process. There were some issues with the cables in the ceiling, so Tony came up with a solution to assess the damage without opening the ceiling up, and all is working perfectly now. Very positive experience, would recommend and work again with any time.

Tony came to install some new ceiling lights which proved a bit of a challenge due to the pipework we had in the floor upstairs. With this barrier to overcome he did an excellent job while keeping us informed and discussing the options of where exactly to place the lights. He always checked before the final cutting of the ceiling for the lights themselves. I’ve lost count of the amount of jobs Tony has done for us now. Always polite, high quality work and gets the job finished properly without cutting any corners. Would recommend.

I contacted Tony once again to check on a faulty light in the bedroom, also while he was here he replaced the outside faulty security light. He came promptly and explained fully the problem with the lights. He also wiped all surfaces clean when the jobs were completed. All done at a reasonable cost. Another job well done. i will not hesitate to contact Tony again in the future.

Had problems with downlighters in bathroom and was worried we might end up in dark. Tony was able to come out quickly to assess the problem and answer my many questions. He provided quotes covering different options so we could pick what suited us best. Work was carried out as described and to the quoted price.

We hired Tony to modernise the electrics in our flat and to wire in new electric radiators and sockets. He was very helpful and gave us lots of options on what to do. I had a very quick response when I emailed Tony to fit a lamp holder and reading light in the bedroom . While Tony was here he also noticed a faulty RCD in the garage which he replaced. Tony was very helpful in showing me how it worked. The work was carried out very professionally, promptly and very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend Tony to anyone.

Again Tony delivered a brilliant service at a reasonable rate. Being told by bathroom fitter that we could only have a 6.5kw shower fitted in the new shower unit, Tony came in had a look, knew exactly what was needed to update the system enabling us to fit the 10.5kw shower that we wanted. £100 to evaluate what was needed, then come back with the required hardware to upgrade the switches for the shower and the fuse board. Clean worker, and a very personable bloke, would highly recommend Tony for any electrical work requirements.

Tony carried out work in my flat. Replacing the wiring for the lighting, replaced the old out dated fuse board and provided the necessary certificates to confirm compliance. He kept me in the loop with the progress and was very professional, polite and tidy.

Tony has done three jobs on our house since we moved in over the last couple of months to Hanham. Upon our first dealings he was very helpful in explaining what he felt would help us electrics wise (our house needs a lot of work in every department!) and importantly was able to give us some dates to do the work. Since then he has done a full EICR report, changed our ceiling lights and completed a house part-rewire. All at a reasonable and competitive cost. Finding someone you trust, cares about the quality of his work and his customers isn't easy nowadays, so we feel lucky to have stumbled across him!

Our wall lights mysteriously stopped working. I emailed Tony, he got back to me very quickly and came round to assess the problem. Couldn't sort it straight away so we arranged for him to come back the following week while we were away. As it turned out it was a simple matter that wasn't immediately obvious when he came round the first time. I was just pleased that he only charged a call out fee and didn't try to take advantage of the situation as some might do. If I need an electrician again I will definitely call Tony.

We used Which Trusted Traders to contact Tony Coombe to come and mend a faulty wall light. We were very pleased indeed by his excellent quick response and work which included two trips, by him, to B and Q to obtain a new light and other parts. We would definitely use him again if need arose and we recommend him without reservation.
