About
Gaining over 20 years of experience working with CCTV in the retail industry, I established Decota in 2014 (originally named Secure Home CCTV) it was grown organically using only customer recommendations and the business experienced steady, gradual growth in its first 3 years. In 2018 it was time to grow the business further and it was re-branded ‘Decota’ ready for its online presence.
We now install, upgrade, service, and maintain CCTV systems for Domestic, Retail & Commercial premises, including system 'take-overs'.

I requested a home visit and quote from Dean. After explaining what I needed Dean gave me his quote and it was a better quote than I had already had by quite an amount. Firstly I required two camera system's but asked about a further camera and the additional cost involved. I was pleased with the final quote. Dean gave me the time and date for the work to be carried out, and adhered to this. After completing the work Dean was more then helpful in answering any questions I needed to know, taking time to run me through the operation of my system. The work carried out was clean and tidy. Thank you Dean for your time, highly recommended.

Dean came to the house to discuss our requirements, offered several options with quotes for each from which to make a choice. The quote was very reasonable. Work booked in within a few days and carried out quickly and efficiently. Dean then gave a lesson on how to use the system. Very pleased with work and performance of system.

I used Decota to upgrade our CCTV following a break in. Dean was highly knowledgeable and talked me through all of the options, including the pros and the cons and was very transparent about costs. While fitting the system, he was fantastic, completing the job effectively, leaving no mess behind and fully explained how to use the system. I also found his aftercare highly reassuring. He responds quickly to requests for advice and went out of his way to support us when we needed to use footage from the system to help the police apprehend some burglars. I found the company to be knowledgable, efficient, and highly responsive. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anybody who needs support with CCTV.

Dean replaced an old CCTV system and added some additional cameras around our property - even clambering into a tree to install one. He was friendly, knowledgeable, clean and tidy and wasn?t afraid to ask and answer questions. We called him back out to install some further cameras around the back of the house and once again an efficient service from him and he happily came out for a re-visit to assist when a builder moved some of them and didn?t replace them correctly. Happy with Dean?s work, would use again and would recommend him to others

Dean offered a very professional and efficient service from the start to the end. He was quick to get back to me and answered all questions thoroughly. Dean knew what he was doing, he went to some length to get the cameras installed as he had to go into the garage loft. Dean talked me through the running of the system. He was great and very approachable. Would recommend!

I found decota through checkatrade. I required 2 security cameras for the front and rear of my house. Dean came to check out what the job required doing and gave me a quote. He explained all the work that needed doing and gave me a date for it to be done. Dean came back on the date he said and did a perfect job, he was a true professional and very friendly. He told me that if I had any problems at all to let him now and emailed me my invoice!. Dean?s work was clean and tidy, I recommended Dean to my friend who was also impressed with his work.
