We recently had our old oil boiler serviced and several expensive spare parts replaced. Shortly afterward, unfortunately, decided to gurgle for a few days and then completely gave up the ghost. Understandably due to the current health situation, it seemed to be impossible to get anyone to come out to see what the problem was until we contacted Southgate and Culham. On hearing that we had no heating or hot water, and the emersion heater did not work either, despite it being a very busy period Nikki arranged for an engineer to call within a few days. As repairing the boiler was no longer an option we decided to have it totally replaced. All the team pulled out all the stops to get us a quote and fit the new boiler within a week from initially diagnosing the problem. The engineers arrived four days after the call out, Kevin and Wayne, who were both very friendly and professional and adhered to the current recommendations regarding COVID 19. The boiler was fitted and the degree of efficiency and competency was second to none. We would not hesitate to recommend this firm and their phone number is definitely now on our speed dial.

Unable to turn to heat off and house getting like a sauna. Phoned at about 10 am and the engineer was with us by 5 pm. Problems identified very quickly. All the required items needed were onboard and work completed within an hour. Everything has worked perfectly since and our thanks to Southgate and Culham for a speedy, efficient, and friendly service. We would recommend them to anyone without any hesitation.

Very professional company - Kevin visited promptly and advised on best way to replace our failed gas boiler system with our preferred choice of Wissemann boiler and their quote was similar to those of several other firms but with a higher quality product. Date arranged, Wayne arrived bang on time and undertook the work extremely efficiently and was very neat and tidy. Kevin came along the following date and installed the new Hive controller and commissioned the system which all worked first time without issues. Whole job complete in under two days (other firms had quoted 3-4 days!). Great staff who did the job when arranged, in the time agreed, for the price agreed and were totally professional - and threw in some free advice about the mother-in-laws heating problems as well ! 100% recommended

My 22 year old oil boiler needed to be replaced. This was discussed during a visit in February 2019 during which all differences the new condensing boiler would have were pointed out and their consequences. This was very helpful as it enabled me to be fully prepared for the 2-day removal/installation in June 2019. I was able to select the date to suit me. The on-site work was completed on time and to the agreed quotation. My home was left clean, neat and tidy. The old boiler, piping, packaging and other debris were all removed from site. Kevin and Wayne did an excellent job. The new installation is working well and much appreciated. Some minor residual details have just been notified and I have every confidence they will be corrected as I have traded with this company for over 10 years.

We had a site visit book but our boiler finally packed in so Southgate & Culham (Nikki) helped out by giving us a quote over the phone confirmed that our choice of boiler (Worcester Bosch ) were market leaders. Kevin then arrived 0n time to confirm all the details ,the quote came out cheaper than we though which in the light of our position (no hot water etc) was very refreshing. 3 days later Wayne the fitter arrived again on time and proceeded to fit our new boiler with no hassle or stress at any time just great re-assurance. The whole experience from start to finish has been 100% positive, and we feel very pleased to have been dealt with in such a totally professional way by a totally professional company.
