We are a family-owned, renewable energy company, operating since 2005. We install solar PV panels, Tesla Powerwalls, heat pumps and solar thermal (hot water) systems. We also provide a comprehensive maintenance and repair service. Based in Horsham, West Sussex we are known for our technical expertise, high standards of workmanship and excellent customer service. We preserve our great reputation by never subcontracting our work to others and we keep our installations to a geographical area that we know we can support with ongoing service.

We had 3 people from the firm come to service 4 units on the roof of 8 apartments in Brighton, they were punctual and pleasant . They worked quickly not only servicing the 4 systems but also pointing out several faults they spotted whilst working on the day that were nothing to do with the work they had come to do . They took time to explain the working of the solar panel systems in detail and were extremely helpful pointing out that some expansion tanks (part of the electric boiler systems of some of the neighbors apartments) had fallen off their fittings and needed urgent attention. This saved 2 apartments from a seriously disastrous and dangerous situation for which we were extremely grateful.

Andy and his team originally put the solar panels up on our new build garage in absolutely horrible weather conditions and when they came back to connect them we had mud everywhere but they didn't complain. They were all so polite and professional and cleared up totally after themselves. The work they did was excellent and more than exceeded our expectations. They are the only trade on our new build project to do this! Amanda is also excellent in the back office organising the dates and I would thoroughly recommend this company.

We have been really impressed with Andy and his team. They have been so polite and professional. It was a delight to have them on site. They put the solar panels up in the most torrential rain and when it came to the connection they did it so neatly and without any fuss, leaving no mess whatsoever - the only trade so far to do this in our whole new build! Thoroughly recommend them. Amanda is also excellent back in the office with arranging the installation dates.

The work carried out was a service and fluid change to our hot water solar collector heating system. The work was carried out efficiently, promptly on the date of the appointment and with no resulting mess or inconvenience. The Sussex Solar engineer was very polite, courteous and helpful by explaining the system,which was completely new to me, telling what was necessary to operate the equipment (basically nothing) but if we had any problems, which he did not anticipate with our set up, we were to call him and he would assist as soon as possible. The whole experience with Sussex Solar, from initial contact to completion and payment of the invoice, was entirely satisfactory throughout. We would not hesitate to recommend this company for any Solar panel that was required.

Our premises had a failure with an air source heat pump system and we had been badly let down by the original engineer after nearly 4 weeks of waiting. The Sussex Solar response inspired confidence, sending out relevant information by email within minutes. When requested, they attended at the earliest opportunity and identified the problem. Within 4 days they had ordered the part from the manufacturers and fitted the replacement - coming out on a Saturday to do so. A first class service.

Sussex Solar have been extremely helpful and efficient in all communications I have had with them. My ASHP was fitted by another installer a few years back but when it broke they couldn't make it out for a while. Andy was recommended by a neighbour and was there the very same day and had it fixed and working within the hour! He was knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. Also gave me helpful advice on running the system that our initial installer never did. I would highly recommend him and will be using him from now on for our annual service.

I had a number of faults with my solar water heating system, some of which had been poorly rectified by another company in the past.Andy from Sussex Solar carried out a service visit within 48 hours of my contacting them.All of the faults I identified plus some I was unaware of were dealt with & a complete service of my system was carried out during his visit.My system is literally as good as new & has not worked so well in a couple of years.I have already recommended Sussex Solar to a neighbour as I am so pleased with their workmanship & punctuality.
