Heatable

My 16 year old boiler suddenly stopped providing hot water over the weekend and I decided to replace it. By chance Scottish Power my utilities provider had emailed me a few days previously regarding their choice of Heatable as a partner. I did some research on the Internet over the weekend and found that Heatable had excellent reviews and were very competitive in their fixed pricing that covered every aspect of the boiler installation. I contacted them and spoke to Scott with regard to some technical questions about the types of boilers and was very pleased with his open and honest replies. It was very easy to place the order online and the following day I had a new boiler! David the installation engineer was first class, did an excellent job and explained everything thoroughly. From initial enquiry to installation was 3 days. Simply marvelous and very impressive. I had also contacted some local companies but nobody could beat Heatable on price or speed of installation. In fact the best price from a local company was over 40% more expensive and they couldn't start for some 2 weeks. I have no hesitation in highly recommending Heatable to anyone who needs a new boiler. What I thought was going to a stressful experience was entirely the opposite and I am more than happy to give Heatable a 5 star review. Well done!

Pros: The estimation and planning stage was excellent. The consultant was highly responsive and patient during the evaluation of different scenarios. Ultimately, the battery and solar system provided met all requirements and represented good value, as pricing was competitive for the quality offered. Additionally, the digital ordering process was clear and straightforward. Cons: The post-order process was poorly executed and quite stressful, primarily due to the following issues: 1. Survey: The initial site survey was rescheduled from Tuesday to Wednesday, the day before it was due to take place. After the customer waited in all day, the surveyor failed to arrive and the appointment had to be rescheduled. Furthermore, no contact number was provided for the installers. 2. Installation: No advanced notice of the installation date was received until a scaffolder arrived on a Friday and suggested the work was scheduled for the following Monday. After Heatable was emailed, the company confirmed a Monday start time of 10:30 AM. However, the installers did not arrive until after 2:00 PM. While the battery was installed quickly, the team lacked the correct fittings for the specific roof tiles. They returned on Wednesday, but there was a further wait for a delivery that arrived at 10:30 AM. The work was finally completed by Thursday lunchtime. The main issue appeared to be that the installers had a six-hour drive to the property and had no way to source parts locally.

Glenn the heatable engineer was fantastic, the whole process was very easy start to finish, work was of high standards and couldn't do enough to help and explain the new system, would definitely recommend, prices were also very fair.

I contacted Heatable along with three other providers with regard to a quote for a new boiler due to my new boiler having finally packed up for good (we think it's over 15 years old). Heatable were polite, cheery and helpful from the beginning. They provided an online quote and then followed up with a single phone call, or I may have called them. No heavy sales, just a simple call to discuss my preferred option, payment options, the process to make it happen and confirm availability. I was a bit nervous going with an online quote rather than someone physically seeing the set up, but I was clear on which boiler I wanted and knew it suited the house size and energy usage, where it was going to go, etc. The customer service/sales team were clear and helpful and reassuring. There were a number of different payment options, including interest free credit /paying by instalments. I was keen to get a new boiler as soon as possible but also didn’t want to make any mistakes. Heatable were happy for me to get multiple quotes for comparison. Their price was one of the least expensive, like for like, and £1000 cheaper than one of the biggest well-known providers. I committed to finance and sent photographs to the link they sent me. Within 48 hours of the initial enquiry, I had a new boiler installed and working. Installers/Engineers were tidy, communicated clearly, punctual, efficient, and made everything good (possibly cleaner than they found it). Fabulous!

Well, where do I start. From quote to complete installation, going via great support from the sale and customer service team and regular communication, the whole experience was absolutely great. When you make such a purchase as a boiler that is what you really need! Thank you for the team! And yes, by the way, great price as well!

Our old boiler finally gave up and Heatable were great. Their website booking and payment system was straightforward, their prices were competitive and the gent who came to fit the boiler was fantastic. Very efficient, clean and thorough. He talked us through everything and explained any changes that were required before completing the work. He was very professional and considerate in our home. Great experience!

Excellent service from Heatable from start to finish. The whole process was straightforward, communication was clear, and everything was completed on time. Josh and Harry installed my new Heatable gas boiler exceptionally well. They arrived promptly, were friendly and professional throughout the installation and worked efficiently. They kept everything tidy and explained the new system clearly and simply. I highly recommend Josh and Harry to anyone needing a Heatable boiler installed.

From my initial phone call to Heatable we were helped all the way along the process, including the finance. One thing we particularly liked was the survey done about a month before installation. The whole thing was well planned. On the day we were texted with expected time of arrival which they beat! It was a three-man team and they worked very well together. By lunchtime, the 12 panels were installed. The rest of the time was wiring in the gateway, changing my Tesla charger and the Powerwall. By 5pm it was complete. The Powerwall was connected to the mains and internet and after the software update it was working The installers showed me the main functions and explained the various switches. They cleared up all the packaging etc and left us to play! What could have been a stressful day turned out to be a great day. Many thanks to Neil, Paul & Cam for an excellent job. We had a Viessmann Combi Boiler fitted today. Everything from start to finish was first class. Dan and Kai went above and beyond to ensure that the installation was completed not just in one day but correctly. All rubbish removed from site also. I would have no hesitation in recommending Heatable to friends and family in the future. Thank you!!

Job completed within 2 days of booking, so it was super quick. The engineer was Will McIntyre, who did an exceptional job. Very tidy, professional, and friendly. We are very pleased with the finish. Would not hesitate to recommend.
