As a HETAS approved member of the 'Guild of Master Chimney Sweeps' we have been professionally trained and assessed in all aspects of solid fuel. SweepSmart has passed the vigorous assessments needed to become a 'Which? trusted trader' and have achieved the rank of Master Sweep with the Guild.

Efficient and clean work on 3 stoves/chimneys. One stove had a baffle with a hairline crack and it broke during removal - we had an informative discussion about the pros and cons of such baffles and Paul promised to replace it if - after running the stove for a bit - I decide it would be beneficial. Courteous, careful, efficient service. Excellent back-office information. Recommended without reservation.

Would highly recommend SweepSmart. I had a level 1 inspection and sweep of my flue at my Grade 2 listed thatch cottage. Keil provided essential guidance including the best way to maintain a safe working chimney flue when using my log burner. The work was carried out professionally with no residual mess once the sweep was completed. The report and certification that was provided regarding the condition of my flue was detailed and reassuring and was received only a few hours after Keil had inspected my chimney. Follow up questions were also quickly responded to. Excellent job!

Two friends recommended this company as we hasn’t used anyone before. The whole booking process was easy and we were kept up to date on estimated arrival times which was really helpful. The information and advice was great and we now have our CO monitor installed as per the advice received from the company. Feel much more confident about lighting the fire now thank you!!!

Office staff friendly, helpful and time-keeping was as informed. Paul is friendly, knowledgeable and professional. He explained everything in detail. If his view is that something doesn't need to be done, he will tell you, which proves him to be a genuine person. I have no concerns about recommending Paul.

Super professional service from SweepSmart. I've been using them for annual sweeping since we got a stove a few years ago, and have always been impressed by how quick, smooth and friendly they are. It's always easy to book an appointment, great communication especially re exact time of arrival, the service itself has always been excellent, there's never any dust or dirt afterwards (!) price is good, and feedback/advice always valuable. Highly recommended.
