I have been using this company for my annual chimney sweep for some years and they are excellent about letting you know the date, and updating your time slot as the day approaches, and keeping you aprised when they are on their way. They have never left any mess and are always polite. On a previous visit, they spotted that my chimney had void in the back which compromised its efficiency and they filled this with some kind of insulation. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

We had the steel liner removed, a new cap on the chimney and then a vented panel inserted to block the chimney. Tony and James worked quickly and efficiently and left no mess. Great service and they changed the appointment time to suit us. The charge came in less than quoted as they used some existing parts and the cap was cheaper than a bird guard. Definitely recommend and would use again.

Paul came and swept my chimney and did a safety check. He was very professional and knowledgeable and checked everything was in good working order. Left absolutely no mess what so ever. I would highly recommend smart sweep for this service and will use them again in future.

We had issues with smoke leaking from the chimney. SweepSmart were able to attend promptly and the communication was very good. Paul was very effective in diagnosing the problem and talking me through everything and showing me on the CCTV. I was really happy with their service so have asked them to price up and carry out the remedial works.

They attended promptly, were respectful of furnishings, etc, did a thorough clean of flue (which was Poujoulat Therminox T1 and Zi flexible) and had a look at chimney stack and cowl. All cleaned, and tested with smoke, flue was warmed prior to test. The flu drew well, as evidenced by opening and closing of door. However, they identified a problem with the air vent - it did not affect the draw at all, smoke just filled the chamber whether 'open' or 'closed'. They checked that the plate was sliding underneath (with mirror) when the air vent was operated, which seemed to be working but in terms of clearing smoke it was not working. I have now contacted the manufacturer as it is a new stove and hopefully this will be fixed. Very pleased with the service and the ability to diagnose what was not working.

Arrived earlier than expected (no problem) swept the whole fireplace speedily and efficiently with no mess and also changed the rope on log burner. Excellent communication throughout and a good price for the work, would definitely recommend.

No fuss, no nonsense. Good price and an excellent chimney clean and survey. They knew what they were doing and gave clear, concise advice. I would definitely use them again
