Splash of Colour Painter&Decorators Ltd, the Glasgow-based family painting and decorating business, was crowned 2020's Which? Trusted Trader of the Year.
The company beat a competitive shortlist due to their ongoing commitment to consumers and the community, consistently excellent customer feedback, and involvement with charities and community projects.
Splash of Colour previously won Which? Trusted Trader of the Month in December 2018, and you'll also see them feature further down this list as they bagged another prize in 2020.

Impressing our judging panel with attentive customer service and glowing feedback from homeowners, Property Developments Plus Limited was named Which? Trusted Trader of the Month for December 2020.
The Essex-based company, which deals with kitchen installation, bathroom design, garage conversions, boiler installation and more, first joined the Which? Trusted Trader scheme back in 2014.
After serving his apprenticeship, founder Barry Spurgeon continued to work on many large building sites all over the Greater London area. But after feeling frustrated by ‘tradesmen’s attitudes and their reluctance to provide a quality service’, Barry decided to form Property Developments Plus Limited in 2005 with help from his father.

Backed by glowing reviews from customers praising a reliable and professional service, Homeglaze Home Improvements was named Which? Trusted Trader of the Month for November 2020.
This wasn’t the first time the Essex-based company caught the attention of our judging panel. After joining the Which? Trusted Trader scheme back in 2015, this family-run company scooped the award for Which? Trusted Trader of the Year back in 2017, and bagged another Which? Trusted Trader of the Month award in 2019.
Homeglaze Home Improvements has been treating customers to stellar service since the company was established in 2010. Both our judges and customers have been impressed by the professionalism on show.

Providing a consistently high quality service to its customers, D J Garage Services Ltd was named Which? Trusted Trader of the Month in October 2020.
This isn’t the first time that this family-run mechanics’ has nabbed the prize - take a look at the group’s Which? Trusted Trader profile and you’ll see that D J Garage Services Ltd previously earned a Which? Trusted Trader Certificate of Distinction in July 2019 and July 2020.
Father and son duo Ray and Chris Vince have been at D J Garage Services for a combined 30 years, where they deal with vehicle servicing, repairs and MOTs - some customers have kept coming back ever since they first set up shop.

Bristol-based electricians Lek-Trix Limited was named Which? Trusted Trader of the Month in September 2020.
Lek-Trix Limited does a wide range of electrical work, including lighting, power and fitting smart home systems. This is the company’s second win, with Lek-Trix Limited also named Which? Trusted Trader of the Month in August 2019.
Lek-Trix also achieved a Which? Trusted Trader Certificate of Distinction in June 2020 - this accolade is awarded to a select few traders who achieve the very highest standards.

A can-do attitude and drive to support NHS workers caught the attention of our judging panel in August last year.
Standing out from the crowd with a detailed and passionate application, LCM Flat Roofing Ltd was named Which? Trusted Trader of the Month in August 2020.
The family-run business specialises in flat roofing, but also provides a range of other roofing services. On a mission to treat all their customers to a stellar service, LCM Flat Roofing Ltd covers the Cotswolds, Gloucestershire, Worcestershire and surrounding counties.

As the company celebrated its 40th birthday, our judging panel presented Finesse Windows Limited with an award for fantastic customer service.
Impressing our judges with an approach that always puts the customer first, Finesse Windows Limited was named Which? Trusted Trader of the Month in July 2020.
This is the company's third win, with Finesse Windows Limited also winning Which? Trusted Trader of the Month in July 2017 and July 2019.
The family-owned business, which employs a team of around 50 people, offers a host of services including double glazing and door installation and conservatory repairs.

Catching the attention of our judging panel (and not for the first time), Tincknell Heating was named Which? Trusted Trader of the Month for June 2020.
Having received our certificate of distinction in July 2019, the company has been praised by customers for a thoroughly professional service - in fact, at the time of writing, Tincknell Heating has been recommended by 100% of customers on their Which? Trusted Trader profile page.
Among the many positive comments, customers are praising the professional service provided by ‘polite, friendly and efficient’ staff.
The company, which employs around 25 full-time employees, first joined the Which? Trusted Trader scheme back in November 2016. It serves customers across Somerset, Wiltshire, Dorset, Avon and south Gloucestershire, dealing with boiler servicing, installation and repair.

Catching the attention of our judges with its generous charity work and lots of positive customer reviews, Furlonger Tree Services was named Which? Trusted Trader of the Month for May 2020.
The company provides a range of professional services, including controlled tree felling, dead wood removal, hedge trimming, tree reports and more.
This isn’t the first time that the Surrey-based group has won this award. Endorsed by the Which? Trusted Trader scheme since 2015, Furlonger won our Which? Trusted Trader of the Year award back in 2019.
Which? Trusted Trader of the Month, April 2020
Praised by both our expert judging panel and its customers, IN'n'OUT Autocentres in Wigan was named Which? Trusted Trader of the Month in April 2020.
The company, which deals with MOT testing, car servicing, brakes, tyres, repairs and more was delighted to be accredited as a Which? Trusted Trader back in 2015. Its rigorous assessment involved checks on credit reports, staff interviews and customer satisfaction reviews.
IN’n’OUT Wigan is managed by Syd Valli, who has been in the industry for more than 18 years, having worked in both small and large independent garages. The Wigan team is made up of six people, with a further 170 colleagues who work at IN’n’OUT’s 27 autocentres spread across the country.

Wowing our judging panel with dedicated customer service and a willingness to go the extra mile, Inspiration Computers was named Which? Trusted Trader of the Month for March 2020.
This isn’t the first time the Yorkshire-based company (established in 2003) has earned the title. The family-run business, which offers laptop and computer repairs, custom PC builds, web design - plus a host of other computer fixes - was also named Trusted Trader of the Month back in November 2018.

February 2020 saw Derbyshire based Lords Roofing & Sons LTD win a Which? Trusted Trader of the Month title for the second time - impressive, considering the company only joined Which? Trusted Traders four years ago.
Our judges were impressed by Lords Roofing & Sons LTD’s charity efforts and support for the local community, as well as its glowing customer reviews.
Customers have repeatedly described the team as ‘polite’, ‘trustworthy’ and ‘conscientious’ in the reviews on the company’s Which? Trusted Traders profile.

Back in January, 2020 kicked off with this Which? Trusted Trader of the Month award going to painter and decorator Shaun Mckay at Splash of Colour Painter&Decorators Ltd - the company that would later become the Which? Trusted Trader of the Year.
Our judges were impressed by Shaun’s many five-star reviews - his customers were so impressed that one of them also took the time to write to us about Shaun’s ‘outstanding service’.
